My first post so please be kind. We were going to book the Tiggo 8 Pro two days ago in Lahore. We made a pay order slip from the bank however, the employee did not put "ON A/C OF CUSTOMER NAME". We realised this slip-up once we left the bank and were on the way to the dealership which was 5pm so the banks had closed. We postponed our booking and went next morning back to the bank.
We went the next day to the bank to re-make the pay order to which the employee said that we'd need to get it signed and stamped by Ghandara Nissan Ltd. We went back to the dealership and they said that they can't provide a stamp as the pay order slip would have to go to Karachi as Ghandara Nissan Ltd is based there. They also explained that they can accept the pay order as is with no need of "ON A/C OF CUSTOMER NAME". I was doubtful so they suggested I go back to the bank and try and get this current pay order modified. We went back there and they refused saying that if we had come yesterday that would have been possible but now that it has entered the system nothing can be done without the stamp/signature.
Anyhow, we went back to the dealership and booked the car in the bank account holder's name (my father) and received PBO with copy of pay order slip attached. My questions are...
Could this be an issue since pay order doesn't have "ON A/C OF CUSTOMER NAME"? Also, is there any benefit of having the car in my father's name instead of mine?
Any reassurance would be appreciated. Thanks!
