Booked Honda CITY and forgot! NTN issue

Hey guys its been like 6-7 months, and no sign of delivery.
As per Honda Faisalabad (canal road), car is ready at factory however there is some issue with my "NTN" filer status.
As per honda dealer: Honda factory says i am not active tax payer, hence they won't clear car for delivery until i pay extra 50K. However, i am filing tax regularly and shown as active on tax payer list, what exactly is going wrong. I have sent all proofs to my dealer regarding my tax payer status and he keeps saying that he is working hard to convince the Honda Factory?

If you are a tax filer they cannot do this...take up the case with Honda Japan or competition commission Pakistan....and show them the proofs....

Go to the website of fbr and check your status http://www.fbr.gov.pk/ATL
.if it shows your status as active tax payer then there should be no problem .take a print out and show Honda the proof.if not then contact consumer court or you can contact fbr directly and get your issue sorted .

Have done that multiple times, my status is active on FBR website etc and sent them all proofs in January with continuous followups. However, the dealer tells me "i am not shown as active at Honda factory in the list they have"

Bypass your dealer and contact Atlas directly. Visit them, if in Lahore, to get it sorted.

Dealer might be hoodwinking you by selling your car at premium and making you wait excessively long for next batch.

There is a ATL Excel sheet on FBR site, download it and check your CNIC in it. If your CNIC is present in that list than ask Honda to get new ATL, they may have been using old list. I had same issue in 2015 and resolved when they downloaded new sheet.

actually i looked into that excel file on there advice, and found my CNIC there, even informed them.

Than most probably your dealer is playing with you for some extra cash. You can threaten them with consumer court as it is very active in Punjab and will resolve your issue very soon.

Such pathetic tactics to delay the car deliveries. This is seriously needed to be raise with the regulatory bodies else we will keep suffering at the hands of these companies. I myself have now been waiting for 7 months now (although my delivery date is 28th Feb) and every time i call my dealership (Honda Classic Isb) they either have no clue or not interested in giving any information.

Go to your dealership and present your documents to them and ask them to deliver your car in next 2 days. If failed to do so threaten them that you are taking a legal action against the dealership in consumer court and will provide all the proofs there. Maybe that can work and you might get your car soon.

Write an email to Honda factory, with CC to dealership, FBR helpline, Chairman, Ministry of Finance, Supreme Court & whom so ever you can come up. Send the same via registered post, & if possible sent them a legal notice for intentions to sue for causing distress & trauma. Make a blog & share the address on social forums but don't pay a penny extra.

When did you submit payments for the car? Please list amount and dates.

Be mindful that the dealership might be trying to deceive you by citing FBR issue since FBR is a black hole with regards to taxpayer interests. It could be that your dealership got your payment on time but delayed to send onward to Atlas before the recent price increase (perhaps rolling it onward for booking investment/OWN cars). Post-price increase, the difference in payment amount (50-60K) could also be an issue. Unless it is cleared, Atlas won't ship/invoice the car.

exactly. Its so simple even you can just show them at there computer screen. Rather they checks by their own.

Bhai jaan, the problem is all created by dealership. They have sold your invoiced car to somebody else and now on whom invoice your car is being delivered is a non filer, now their first priority is to ask u to deposit the tax amount by actually telling you it is adjustable so no problem. But don't fall in this trap, their next tactic will be to delay your delivery to somebody else's invoice who is a filer until a delivery of an investor comes up. That's how their cycle operates. There is no **ckin way that they are being unable to see you as a filer, while actually your CNIC is appearing on ATL

Plus don't tell them it is your first brand new car. They would become sure that you are actually homeopathic to them, they would further employ foul tactics. Just involve somebody influential in this whole scene and suddenly everybody will be able to see your name and CNIC on ATL and requirement of dues will become a joke

I agree dealer has sold ur car on own most probably. How about going and filling a roznamcha report in thana against that dealership for hoarding ur money.
Show them the roznamcha and say next will be GIR and then case.
It might work tovget out of the hassle otherwise right now just u r feeling the pain and theyve pocketed own bucks and playing u
