Booking Cancelled Cultus VXL- Refund policy

Hi,

I booked Suzuki Cultus VXL on August 21, 2021 and made full payment. But today September 8, 2021 I received a call that your car cannot be booked- Company stopped booking. I said them return my money.

Now, my question is how long it take to get money back and does anyone know the exact process for refund?

I got the same call as i booked on August 20, but they gave me option to switch to vxr model or get your money back. Did they gave you this option?

Yes they gave me the option. But I am thinking to get money back....

I think it takes 1 month to get your money back. But one thing is that whenever the booking would open the price for all the variants would go up.

As per newspapers, the booking will not open till 2023. I also doubt that they would be able to deliver Cultus VXR on time. So, If getting money back is easy, I think it would be a good option.

The delivery date has increased from 90 days to 120 days that i have confirmed...also can you share me the link where it states booking wont open till 2023

They are facing chip scarcity. If this is a case, i am skeptical they would be able to deliver VXR even in 120 days.

I talked to a guy who work with pak suzuki, there is scarcity of parts for cultus ags and vxl, but no issue of parts of cultus vxr, alto vehicles etc. and these are in production. He suggested to go for vxr as after this there would be price hike due to dollar rate fluctuation which is causing parts prices to go up as well as freight charges

Yes. This logic makes sense. Chances are high that prices will go up, especially for VXL. In my opinion, If VXL is present on a showroom, then paying some extra to get this is also a profitable deal, as VXL issue ( parts scarcity) will not solve soon. VXR is also a good option.
By the way can you confirm you booking time for VXR starts from today or it starts when you first time booked VXL?

It starts from the day you booked vxl. Also have been told that priority is being given to those who have switched to vxr.. Don't know how much truth is in this as those people who have switched would get their updated tentative dates in 2 to 3 days.
