Booking Period of 1.5 PT Aspire (Surprised!)

Hi Fellows,

One of my friend recently booked Modern Steel Metallic 1.5 Aspire PT from Honda Qaideen Karachi on 08-Dec-2016. He got the relationship number on 10-Dec-2016. He was really shocked when he came to know that the delivery date given by the Showroom person is 31-Mar-2017. When he checked at the Honda website the same date was mentioned.

He is really upset as it is more than 3 Months. is this normal, Please share your experiences about the tentative delivery of the car. Is there any way to reduce the time period or he has to bear with it.

Due to the Booking Pressure and production of Civic, Honda is taking same time of 3 months to deliver City Models.

For PT booking period is 3-4 months but for MT booking period is 1-1.5 months. I got my Aspire 1.5 MT in 25 days

I booked my Honda City Aspire 1.5 PT Silver from Honda Defence on 2 Dec. Delivery is stated as 31 March. Didn't the govt pass a law against such late deliveries, and any delivery exceeding 2 months was eligible for a discount at KIBOR + 2%?

Last I remember the SHC issued a stop order on that (following Toyota/Suzuki approaching them), but anyone know what else happened on that front?

4 months from order to booking is kinda annoying, especially given the OWN market and situation in the country.
