Good choice (Y). We had the same tyres (185/70/R13) on our City too, really good tyres. I've seen these on many cars.

But by lowering the profile, the overall size of your tyre will be lesser than the original specifications. Don't you think your speedometer will have to be recalibrated in order to give the correct speed? Correct me if I'm wrong.

yar akbar havnt bothered to check the fuel economy as yet
the handling is awesome plenty of grip but still there is an issue... iam feeling bumps on "khuddaz and "pot holes"
got the alighnment done at "ghausia allignment" near urdu bazaar
took 3 rounds of Mai kolachi road the grip was perfect...
drove a bit in the short stint of rain karachi had the tyres are good in wet conditions
as for muddy conditions they do tend to loose grip..... gave it a try on the side skirts of korangi creek

i am a bit worried about the ride getting a bit unstable on bumpy roads btw the air pressure is 30 in all four wheels

Kizzi, maybe its cause the new tyres are hard....see if running them a bit fixes the problem...also what is the condition of your suspension?

@Kizzi. Hi I also got same tyres but in bigger size. Are you sure 30 pressure is recommended for Cultus? Does the door markings say that. There are min and max tire pressure written on the sidewall, try to find it and reduce pressure accordingly and then check.

Any tire inflated to full will give you a bumpy feeling and noise at khaddas.

The only criteria for the tires are that they should be fresh and not damaged during freight, rest is 19/20 difference between brands, no sea change should be expected. I have two friends who never changed their Xli and Gli's general and have no issues. They can afford better tires but say will get when stock tires are done.

im using dunlop digi eco in my fx, yokhama ss220 in my nissan sunny 2.0d ex saloon, sumitomo in my toyota vitz. really sumitomo r the bestest tyres. i got it fixed 4rm my own shop:D
