This is an awesome car. I have kept two versions of it (1.3L and 1.5L) for a total of 4 years and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I am a fan of the 1.5L Neo version as it is the perfect subcompact sedan from the 90s.
First thing to know is if your car is a 1.5L or a 1.3L. Both of those engines are rock-solid and the first thing you should do is get the oils, filters (definitely), plugs, wires (optional) etc checked and changed. Make sure your engine isn't leaking any oil, if it is, best to get the seals changed so that it doesn't go low and create future problems.
Keep in mind that 8 to 10k will need to be spent for general engine care in the start.
The car runs fine on CNG, but if it runs on petrol the 1.5L gives from 10 to 12 kmpl with a light throttle. I believe the 1.3L will give the same kind of average.
One thing to note is that interior parts such as AC vents and dashboard trim pieces are not easily available and are expensive. So, do an inventory of what you have and try to preserve any original pieces which are already in good nick.
After taking care of the engine, you can focus your attention to the suspension. Honda's of the 90s are amazing cars and to get all the goodness out you must have a solid suspension. A suspension overhaul can cost you between 25k to 50k but you can get away with a much smaller bill if all it needs are new joints and bushes.
