@qwertypoiu. Since Punk is not seeing this thread let me put some info here which he gave me.

Canon D1000 is for 52K (Last year in April they quoted me 48K) at Canon shop in Blue Area, Islamabad, near Rahat Bakery. Punk said that they also had a two-day used one, but he did not mention price.

Nikon D3000 is for 53,900 rs
Nikon D5000 is for 68,000 rs

he was selling canon 1000 for 38k. It was camera, charger and lens Only.
Olympus E620 and 450 is good choice. comes with two lens

Few things that my research tells me

MBM is the authorized distributor

they are crooks.

Poor after sales services
ripping people off.

finding a good place to buy a canon is almost not possible

purchase is subject to bargaining(which i am not good at)

places like Metro and hyperstar doesnt sell canon.

Exposure time 2.00s, Aperture 8.0, ISO 280. WB auto, 0, 0.

I used a Slik u212D tripod. About ISO, a lower number keeps the noise out. I do not like flash, it flattens the images. The above shots were taken to tell the difference and prove that manual mode shooting is better. The above shot had 1400 ISO, so higher ISO does not necessarily make things better.
