yaar, odo, hmmm, dun know, U can always scotch tape a nokia 3310 to ur gen and start the stopwatch with the kick. Its battery will seldom die. Its hard enough to withstand the vibes produced by the gen, infact it may shake the genset with its vibe.

Mine came with this one by FF. Love it as it'll tell me when to change oil, when to refill petrol, i.e near to empty down etc. (H)(H)

Currently it reads 3 hours 44 mins precisely. :*

(H) 3310 will work for you bruv. better not mess with th wiring on ur gen.

Well dudes, the brand is dynamac. 4kva gen. I ran it for 5 hours on petrol, and then today, got gas kit installed in it.

To my surprise, the venturi was already installed in the carburetor.

Don't know, may be it came FF, may be they already do it at the dealerships, whatever. Therefore, the dude just came, brought this LONCIN gas kit and pulled the plastic pipes onto the respective places.

This kit has a Idle adjustment screw on it, unlike the chap who over hauled the engine of his gen. Then the mech changed the spark plug of the gen. gave me the existing one, pic attached. Didn't see what plug he installed in it cz I was fixing the plastic pipe at that time.

So, since 7pm today evening, the gen has been running flawlessly on NG, without a single hitch, alhamdolillah, for a continuous 4 hours.

the dude asked 900Rs for the kit, which I said k pichlay 40k main se poora kro. Sirf mazdoori doonga q k tujhe paseena aya hua hai.

For me, this gen works THE BEST. Drives 3 ceiling fans, 2 pedestals, one TV, one hifi system, 4 tubelights, one laptop charger without the slightest noticeable change in sound.

Haven't tried fridge or AC on it yet as its new and the dude suggests me to run for another 10 hours before I do that.

btw,its manual self start, no ATC as I don't like ghurr ghurr all the time. I have UPS with a brand new 175A battery installed, therefore, I use the gen as a 2ndary.

guys u can get n hour meter from any
big electrical panel shops...
simply connect it with the 220v output of ur genny..
and u can get it in under rs500
its a must have..really helps and 100% accurate

arent u putting too less load on ur 4kw gen.. the OES dealer told me to put the following load on 3kw gen
Energy saver 16
Fan : 8
Tv : 2
Deep freezer : 1
washing machine : 01

The above load is for NG and not petrol..

don't know if the load is less. no one told me abt it. yes the gen will now start directly on gas. And it does without a hitch. On half self when hot and a bit longer when not been used for more than 24 hours.

can u please show a clear picture of idle screw?as ur ngkit looks similar to global kit and global kit comes with idle screw aswell but it doesn't really work that well only a dummy..
and is this kit Chinese ?

I asked the price for the same model and it is 90k without gas kit and other modification required so i think with gs kit it will cost around 1 lac rupees.

wo its price increased about 40k in a year thats just insane .. am glad ive made the rite move a year ago and bought it for 60k with gaskit .. its still like new and works awsome mashAllah !

I'm thinking it might be better to spend a little more & get a small generator & run it on gas. At least there won't be any headache of replacing batteries every six months etc.

bro we also have ups we use it as backup device ... when it fails then we use generator on gas.main benefit of ups is that when ever load shedding happens it starts automatically at once and when grid station light comes back then it automatically shuts down at once so u wont have to physically touch it to make it on or off but its main disadvantage is that its power is limited we have a ups which runs 5 energy savers,3 fans thats it with 2 ags batteries it also needs continious power for charging if it doesnt charge and load shedding again happens then good bye to ups but who says that u have to change ups batteries after 6 months ? bro we have using ups for 3 years now and still we never feel the need to change its battries alhamdo lilah but now their back up time reduced ... honda generator uses better quality parts then chinese counter parts so its long lasting and runs on gas with zero problems wot so ever (tried n tested) but only disadvantage is that u have to physically turn it on or off and honda ep2500cx is a push start genset means it dont have self start switch ... i hope i make myself clear to you thanks

you can make a ATS for generator and your generator will automatically start upon load shedding and when grid station light comes back then it automatically shuts down. further load can also be switched between generator and your grid automatically. its working great at my side with a 2.5kv loncin generator

or buy a Cliper ATS aound rs 8000 but make sure first your generator starts easily by self start without any choke or pushing gas through kit

generator still going strong Alhamdolilah .. as load shedding is at its peak currently theres been 20 hours load shedding in my area and ups totally failed it needs new batteries but genset ki naiki he is ne bachaya wa he filhal lolz .. regularly changing its oil every month worth 250 (H) sahi kehty hain jo maza genset me he wo ups me kahan

no brother its not self-start ... honda self start gensets costs above 150k rupees

you can have self-start installed for 8000... i did it also from a friend in 8000
