Bought new Grande, but

Assalam allykum dear fellow PakWheelers

I bought my grande last week tuesday from a dealer in I-8 markaz. I paid 2540k cash and took car with me, they gave me copies of invoices (in somebody elses name, told me car was booked by that specific investor) and I also got full TPL bumper to bumper insurance for 108.8k at very same time..

I was promised original invoices, warranty stuff and navigation card etc this monday but I didn't receive it, on monday I was promised I will receive TODAY (wednesday) but now dealer says it will be dispatched tomorrow (I don't know from where??) and they will receive it on FRIDAY. I mean what the heck but is this normal? don't make commitments if you cannot fulfill them.

Not putting name of dealer here but anyway some guidance will be appreciated. What am I suppose to do with car that I cannot even get registered and drive legally for 2 weeks after purchase even after paying too much extra to avoid booking period of IMC

Also, how long will it take to get car registered and number plates. I am from ISLAMABAD

you should get the original invoice as fast as you can.

usually dealership get the invoice after 15 days when they sold the vehicle to customer.

registration is 1 - 2 days job and you will get the number plates on same time. yes you have to wait for 2 months to get the Smart Registration Card.

Yes, once you get the number plate and ETO slip. you can go anywhere.

Are you filer or non filer ? Since invoice is on someone else name when you will go to register expect to pay more WHT

How much more are we talking about.. I am filer.. I think it's 2% of invoice + 75000 wht + 4500 it

Can some expert please recommend tyre for my grande. I am looking for better grip, if possible increase width but I will prefer not to change company fitted rims. I live in islamabad, but travel often to murree and ayubia. So need tyres that can handle such travels with best grip

For first invoice owner its 75000 but if the invoice isn't in your name, you will be treated as transfer owner and for that WHT is 18750

Genral tyre echange for 18000-20000

Michllen legal impoted brand new for almost 40000rs

But michlen if you get brand new pieces
Dont wear out even at 80000km.
And is most noiseless and soft tyre much better than advan db (my personal experience).

While all others wear out at max 50000km.

Yes you can get 205/65 r16 on your car easily
But michllen tyres looks bigger than the tyres of other companies having same size
So even 195/65 r15 will look beautiful

Installed Dunlop EC201 tyres, 195/65 (dealer recommended not going for 195 because its default warranty size).. paid 20K in exchanged, had driven 250km on general tyres, he said 2 were not in best condition

Also got number plates today, car registered but they kept file... jsut gave me paper, will I get file back with smart card or they keep it to themselves from now on?
