Bought Ravi 70 humsafar plus

Bought the bike 2 days ago for 43k, dealer said it is 2017 model but I don't really care much about the stickers[emoji14]
This is my first bike though I have driven many bikes for the past couple of year but I don't know much about maintaining them.
Now I have read many threads before making this one.

My thoughts for break-in period:
Speed < 40 till 300km
Oil change (any good budget oil or zic)
Speed after 300km < 60 till 800km
Full speed after 800km.
Oil change on 1k

Will this procedure any good?
What should i do on first service/turning and after how much interval?

Also my weight is quite alot[emoji14]
I need suggestions for maintainance and detailing, I'm a student so need budget suggestions.

Some questions:

Should i change anything like spark plug other parts with some good ones(which make)?

How to protect bike from rust, for mud guards some people say to paint underneath or apply tar coal (who will do these things). What about rest of the bike?

What should be my normal interval for tunning? People say 2k, 5k etc.

And should i do my tunning from Honda 3s, will it make a difference?

Keep the tuning interval of 2k it is good enough. Personally i use an interval of 1k.

Also the break in routine that you mentioned is just fine.

Honda service centre is a good option.
In my opinion just pick one good place and stick to it because in this way the person(mechanic) will know your bike bolt to bolt and will be able to better solve the problems of the bike.

yes its the new sticker , mashallah may it serve u well
if u want budget oil , use shell oils from a pump , never buy from spareparts shop or bike workshop as they are mostly fakes
recommended grades by ravi are 10-40 for winters and 20-50 for summers, oil change interval is 800 kms according to ravi but u may stretch it 1000 kms , on every oil change , get its spark plug cleaned , air filter cleaned (thats what i do). and i replace air filter after every 2000kms .
do tar coating in mud guards , i didnt do that n rust has appeared in the mudguards already.
rest of body is good in terms if rust resistance.
some rust appears in frame welds but they dont progress further
maintain correct tire pressure of 26 and 34 psi front rear according to owner manual
i use genuine honda spark plug and genuine honda air filter
what ever parts get damaged / worn replace it with genuine honda parts (my suggestion)

do share ur fuel average figures

break in period plan is totally perfect which u mentioned

in 1000 km tune up
they will adjust air fuel mixture
clean air filter
adjust tappet
clean spark plug
adjust brake adjuster
tighten all the screws and bolts of the bike
adjust chain tightness and lubrication

What is company invoice, at the time of purchase the dealer said that the bike is 2017 model and company invoice will come in a week or 2.

Paid 4k for registration, he said I'll get temporary number for 3 months after that I'll get a permanent number, is this process right?

What documents will I get, I mean all the documents which shows ownership of the bike, also do I have to keep the company invoice?

Other things which I need to know or situation on which I need to stay cautious?

Yes Invoice comes in a a week or 2 ,I bought from a dealer who already had invoice in hand to avoid delays !
Ull need to submit the original invoice etc for registration ,but Ur file will be returned to u when Ur permanent number arrives ,
It will take at least 6 months for permanent number , mine took 8 months but still don't have number plates , it has been 1 year since I initially registered the bike

Remember to take original owenr's manual along with warranty card completely filled n stamped by the dealer. They mostly dont give that to owners

Use WD-40 on chrome parts of your bike occasionally or after a wash as it will prevent from rusting of chrome because of rain or water..

Crossed 1k km a few days ago, tunning still pending, want some suggestions about a problem. My bike is not utilizing its full gear potential (means gear pura nhi uth rha) I have to change the 3rd gear on 18-19 speed and 4th on 37-40, isn't it too low speed for these gears and also the bike starts to vibrte after 45km/h and the 4th gear can comfortably goes to 60, after that I have to push it and it's goes to 80.

A little history of break in period:

Changed oil on 300km (ZIC M7 10W-40)
Speed limit 60km/h after 800km
Speed limit 80km/h after 1k km

Tyre pressure maintain according to manual

All the reading are taken from odometer.

Milage is also not good 35-45km/l

Rear rim is wobbling.

I haven't visited any mechanic till now, also is the free service still valid it's been 2.5 month since date of purchase.

I'm a little worried. Need suggestion what to do.

What things are claimed in warranty?

Free service valid for 1st month only according to owner manual ,
After 1st tune up things will improve

May , 2018 update:

bike has been total 11000 kms driven since october,2015.
things replaced so far:
front wheel bearings.
rear brake pads ( twice).
engine switch ( replaced recently ).
clutch bearing has started to make noise on cold starts ( needs to be replaced soon )
rest going strong allahamadulilah .
no other major maintainance / parts replacement not done

routine maintainance and parts replacement done like spark plug, air filter, engine oil etc.
