no problem brother....first of all as told by twinturbo get ur ac properly checked..!! beacuse if the ac doesnt work properly then the engine stresses alot...secondly ask somee colleagues for a good diesel laboratory...and get ur engine checked..i'll wud advise u to get the engine checked from a few different mechanics but go to good reliable workshops!! then as the mechanics advise u'll probably have to get ur nozzles and other parts serviced....get the allignment of ur pajero chkd and bearings and bushes!!! and pm me the price.. =) this is all for now my friend... and to increase ur cars life and its condition maitained get regular servicing/washing and all the oil changes filters air filter changed/cleaned on timee....my dad has had two pajeros and these things are very important...!! drive safe and it is one hell of a vehicle...!! =D

the best thing is to get it checked by 1 or 2 more mechanics and if they also say the same then i think u shud go for it!!! if the starting is fine then i dont think that there shud be much of a problem...

Amongst most beautifull offroads ever! I just love the muscle and solid looks of it.. Have driven it, and LOVED IT!
One of my uncles had a same one, 2.8Ltr Turbo intercooler, he also had the same milage, 5-6km/Ltr in city... he had manual tranny,i think this milage is fair enough for these big fat turbo machines cant do any better...
Also there might be some difference in milage due to broader tires... they make huge difference, My uncle also had broader ones like these...

thx brother for valuable information, its suspension and drive is very smooth and not creating any kind of noises i think it pretty fine and as i changed its brake pad mechanic checked all the bushes and bearings tht was okie, and first thing after buying this jeep i have done was changed its all filters and oil only doubt left is i think that pump automiser servicing i think i should go for it as u also sugested

thx bro, i forgot to mention tht its 2.8 intercooler turbo diesel with dual ac curise control sunroof, and it is giving me approx 5 km/l in city with ac checked it yesterday but i dont know tht its a good average or not

5-6 urban is the usual you get with A/C.......
1. Keep a light foot on the gas pedal and aim for shifts around 25-2750 rpm in each gear.....with the OD kickin' in, it should do 80 km/h around 2000 revs!
2. Check your air filter and replace with VIC as it is the best..... you are unlikely to find a REAL original....so thats the best bet!
3. Tyres....which size are you running? OEM is 31x10.50 15 for five door or alternatively 265/70/15 for 3 door version.....but both are recommended!
4. Pressure.... are these snow tyres you have? If they are they need to be filled up 2-3 psi more than the standard.....do check that!
5. Engine oil.....15W-40 is the best grade available in Pakistan and gives the best fuel average......use it if your engine is not blowing back or consuming oil.
6. Lastly, these models have a nasty repute for stuck brake calipers/pistons and can cause drag resulting in poor gas averages......check for free rolling on an incline while in N or check by touching the rims after a 10 min in town drive.....the hottest one might be the culprit!

@tigereyez1, bro ur pajero's fuel consumpion is not good even a/c or w/o ac, my Nissan patrol 4.2 diesel was gives me 8km in city, these are big toruqey engines they can handels ac load, no problem 4 it, i suggest you check its injector nozels from good diesel lab cuse its turbo also so check pump condition is must, after services nozel or even pump u can see alot differens in pick & fuel economy.
