bro i ve recently changed all the filters and oil

you need to check the valve clearances, injection timing, and go over the air way circuit, also check the fan clutch for dragging etc, if the fan is running with the engine all the time - it can cause a loss in economy.

8Km/lit is pretty thirsty, I had a LR disco with the 300Tdi engine (2.5 4 cyl OHV direct injection engine) and it used to return me 11 or 12 km/lit in city and its permanent 4WD too.

i spent all day today looking for a pajero like this...and i am soooo disappointed at how people describe their cars... i mean i asked a guy twice before traveling 25 KM about the condition of his pajero.....and when i finally reached there.....the engine was horrible...dirtier than my beetle 1970's engine...and the seats were torn ...abd worst thing...when i opened the rear door...full of rust.....................and teh guy's description was....total genuine condition...lovely car...perfect engine....o and mileage is only 150,000.......ehhhh!!!!!!! <sorry! just wannted to get it out of my system> ...

secondly bro belive me finding a good pajero is not a one day work ,
it took me months finding a pajero in such condition, all u hve to do is sabar as i did dont be in hurry and you have to search alot else depends upon luck, and regarding ur experience its a common practice bro the add and the seller tell something else on phone and when u reach there u got disapointed badly will post engine bay pics 2morrow inshAllah, hope u will like tht also
