Have you seen a price change circular for Honda atlas?
It clearly mentions dealers can get their cars reinvoiced.
Another thing, do u expect each and every car at the dealer ship invoiced? They do have display cars Wright? How do you think they come out of the factory? They are obviously sold as well and invoiced later.
So when a car is sold over or under invoice the manufacturer doesnt gets anything. The p/o is made for full amount.
The under invoice amount is either returned by the dealership or who ever is selling it under invoice.
And similarly for over invoiced cars.
PS : last year Booked a Honda city, yes the booking period was 6 months checked with 2 dealers one offered free Matt's, seat covers, the other one gave free registration.
Suzuki ravi was being offered rs.15,000 under invoice price, dealer offered to get it registered, ready delivery
The market is full of Xli, Corolla altis from March invoices thoose cars going under invoices just because want to take out money put into something else.
Corolla was selling for 300k over invoice. Market has its ups and downs.
