buy original brake pads from Honda dealerships or Honda parts dealers, they are nissin branded and come as a kit with shims and also the correct respective grease packs. They give best result. Make sure the floating pins are not gummed up or have swollen or split rubber parts, If they have then buy the rubber kit and replace them. Lube with silicone grease only (comes with new nissin/Honda pads) or you can buy separately too. Or visit "insaan ka bacha" workshop.
deglaze your discs to remove built up brake pad material from it, and burnish the new pads properly to get best braking performance.
burnishing new brakes is to roast them till you can smell them, The roasting is done by slowing down quickly (without ABS kick) from 100 kph to 20 kph and then keep on driving slowly for 20 seconds. Repeat this 5 times, or you can ride the brake pedal for a kilometer to get same result.
Do not do screeching stops or stop and Park the vehicle abruptly with brand new pads.
You also need to replace all the brake fluid and if its a 2005 model year car, the brake rubber pipes needed to be replaced too.
