Brake pads for City 2014

Guys,

Cost of genuine City brake pads is 17K now a days as per Honda. What are alternate options where we don't compromise on quality much? Also, which area reliable vendors/shops for these parts in Lahore?

go for genuine brake pads, i don't think saving a couple thousand would be worth compromising on your, your families and your cars safety. You might get brands like MK, Asuki etc etc but there are too many copies, and copies of copies.
Better safe than sorry.

Open market honda pads with nisin marking are china copies, some work well, some not, its a random bet

Thats why I asked here to get an idea of price etc. If the difference is minor, I will go for genuine. But if difference is in thousands, then it will be a problem

I would sincerely suggest to buy genuine, OEM parts only.

Alternate options may be avoided in case of brakes pads.

got the brake pads (genuine) for 8600 from parts central just before the covid 19 issue. 3s I think had it for 14-15k. 3s will always charge more for commonly used parts, while they may be cheaper for rarely ordered parts.
