Brand New Car's INITIAL ENGINE RUNNING

I am getting brand new Official Suzuki Cultus VXRi / VXLi. Is it necessary to give 1,000 km running below 80 km/hr and with no more two pessanger's load? I have heard that nowadays it is not a necessary issue.

Car engines are run in from the factory, but it's still best to be gentle with the car for the first 1000 kms at least (I'd go slightly further, but that depends on you). That's the point where the final bedding-in of the rings and cylinders takes place. Also, be gentle with your gearbox during this time.

Use Mineral oil during running-in. Not synthetic. Synthetic oil lubricates too well, which is detrimental to proper running-in.

be nice to the car.. think that its ur gf (only till a 1000 kms)

I think its good idea about using mineral oil not the synthetic one during the running,,,,,

just try to drive carefully for first 100 km after that no problem when these cars are off loaded from trucks and showroom drivers take them to showrooms they drive very rash. Cars r also tested in the factory at the speeds upto 100km. nothing to worry about.

go plain smooth the first 1000km. a little hard between 5000-10000 km and then rev to the maximum every once in a while so the engine is ready at all times for urgent acceleration or it will never "open up" as they say.

I drove my corolla grande on 120 + plus continues on highway and for few minutes 180+ for the first 1000 km does it effects the engine or not ?
