Brand new Honda CD 70 or use Honda cg 125

Hi guys I'm new to the riding community and I had a query which I hope you guys will help me with,I wanted to buy my first bike and have no idea of what to buy, my range is around 65k-70k.the most obvious options in Pakistani market is a new CD 70 or a used cg125.my friends recommended me a new cd70 but I think it is underpowered and not fun or commfortable to ride so the other option is a pridor or a 125,kindly help me decide what to buy

If you wanna go trouble free, and this will be your first bike, then:

First preference: Brand New Honda CD 70
Second / Last preference: Brand New Honda Pridor 100

Honda Pridor 100 is a perfect balance between pick, power, ride, fuel efficiency, etc. but for this bike, you will have to stretch your budget.

When seeking for 'power' you obviously want speed. Get a CD 70 and enjoy trouble free biking for years to come.

Not too long ago I faced the same dilemma. What I did was get the 125 used and enjoy using it every day. I had a thorough look at the available examples of a used 125, tried them all and bought the one that felt right.
After buying I replaced the following items : clutch, cushion garari only cause it was giving a whining noise, sprocket and chain set, piston rings, tyre bush, wheel bearings and all of this wasn’t done at once. It was done over months and was not too expensive.
You will hear a lot of negative talk about the current model 125 but even after the “lowered” quality of the present bikes, they still are very reliable and u will have no trouble trying to find an ustad who can easily fix any problems u encounter
My advice: follow ur heart and get the 125 and u will have fun leaving all the cd 70 behind

Yes pridor is a good bike but the thing which concerns me about it is that it has subpar resale value compared to the other 2 bikes

Yes a 125 will be more fun compared to the other two but I am new to the biking community and have minimal knowledge about the maintenance of these bikes so I think buying a new 70 or pridor using it and selling it after 1-2 years then buying a cg125 would be better

Bro i will again ask you don,t buy specially used cg 125 because peoples abused cg badly & sale it there is very low chance you will get good bike

Yes hami you are absolutely correct this is a sad but true issue preasent in Pakistani bikes,people have no service record for anything and the buyer does not know how the bike is used or maintained. I'll most probably get a new CD 70 because of good resale n parts. the only reason I won't go for pridor is because comparatively it's parts are harder to find and has worse resale.

The problem is ke in the price range of 65k to 70k 125s are very maniplative,people change tappas and remove meters so there's no easy way of knowing how much or how good the bike was used

Don,t even think about to purchase new or old cg it will be stolen asap because cg is hot cake for thieves
