Brand new Suzuki Wagon R VXL or used Honda City I.DSI

I am surprised no one mentioned mira in this range.
The problem with passo and vitz in 1 million budget is that you get older models which are driven 1 lac plus, where as you can find a really clean less driven mira in this range
Another plus point of mira is that its Smart drive versions are very fuel friendly in local , in traffic jams , stop lights etc
Ofcourse if youe have 5 family members its not recommended at all..
I had a budget of 1 mil needed a third car, I bought a 2010 swift 50 k driven, totally satisfied with it , car is running smoothly , i get average of 10 ( this was expected as its a swift)

The guy who made this thread wanted to decide bw a wagonr & an idsi hence the other options were automatically omitted.

You are right. I had an Alto back in 2013, I also used to put a roof carrier on it and luggage storage problem was solved. Till now I've made my mind for Wagon R but will let you know what I finally buy and if I have any query, I will ask from you guys. Thanks alot.

salam, why not go for passo? JDM 30k driven in japan is alright.

anything above 30k in pakistan is a no purchase as cars gets beaten up in pakistan alot.

my suggestion is go for wagon R full options PKDM otherwise Passo.

when you finances allow you go for brand new city.

the current city model is outdated too and selling for around 8 years now.

go for wangon R and inshallah in time next year when new city Launches you can always sell wagon R and go for brand new city.

sir new car is new, when you spend 1 million rupee you want the feeling of new car when you get in it. even 10k drive paki car with paki peoples phichkariyan and ciggrette smell do no suffice 1 million rupee jhatka.

AOA! I am having a maximum budget of 11 lacs and I want to purchase a car. A friend of mine suggested me to go for City I.DSI whereas I was previously going for a Cultus Euro II, He told me so many negative points about Cultus that now I definitely don't want to consider it. But after searching Pakwheels, I found that most of the I.DSI are driven more than 100k. So now I am a bit confused that should I get a brand new WagonR or Honda City which to me does not seem to be a good choice as it is going to be quite a bit old. What do you guys suggest keeping the following things in mind:
1. Comfortable
2. Fuel efficient
3. Easy to maintain
4. Resale(though not a very big issue for me)
5. Drive on bumpy roads
6. Easy availabilty of spares

I dont know what you have decided but let me give u my v personal experience. In my family we change cars after like 3 4 yrs other than a cuore brand new we got in 2001 and a mehran in 2015 all were used but mint cars. Now coming to real part! every single i repeat every single car we got used either at the time of buying or right after few months required maintenance and it continued! recently got an ultraaa mint 2009/10 gli 54k km driven highly over priced(12.95lakh) just because of the condition then market rate and still we had to spend around 30k as soon as we got it. Moral of the story newer it is better it is! best of luck and by the way write it somewhere wagon r will soon be a hot cake veryyyyyy soon specially due to its mileage/km and ac. Always keep this thing in mind, There is a new car, then there is a city, corolla or civic, in short new cannot be compared to the old one, because if you have budget of 23-25 lacs you will prefer new civic/grande or you have option to get 2nd Camry or Accord. Best idea to decide on car, is to list down your requirement and examine your budget, go for the car which best suits you. I will never buy a 2nd hand car if i cannot maintain it (due to lack of time or money). In the end of the day you need to get from point A to B with reasonable comfort, If you start hearing noises and repair bills, wasted time on weekends in repair, you will see that you better off with new car, or car that is very less used carefully driven.

Thanks for your reply. I have 5 family members out of which three are adults and two are kids. Space wise I think Wagon R is okay but i am confused that will Wagon R offer the same amount of comfort on loung route that a sedan offers. And if I take my car to a village which has poor roads then will Wagon R be okay or not? These are the confusions in my mind.

anywaz, u can easily find xcllnt city, wo b auto, under 1 M.
r u at isbd. i will find one for you.
my uncle is at taxila. ap kahan suzuki and city ko mila rahay. city is xcllnt.
at itwar bazar, taxila, last month, there was zero metr city, sold for 9 75. i offered 9.
it was auto, silver color n lhr number. city k engine ko 100 k chalnay sy kuch nahi hota bhai ..
