Brand new Suzuki Wagon R VXL or used Honda City I.DSI

I don't know man, Hondas always are annoying on gas. Suzukis work best on cng and Toyota to follow.
Well setting keeps changing in Honda, every 2nd week it needs to be tuned. This is entirely based on my observation and experience.

If Honda City I.DSI really has problems on CNG then its not going to be my car. I think Corolla is good if I find a low mileage one in reasonable price otherwise Wagon R is the only thing left for me.

It's mid June man, and no cng. It's not gonna happen, ps city ki petrol mileage is 20+ long and 16 ish local. No need for cng

Actually you are right but incase the government gets merciful towards us and mistakenly makes CNG available in the country then City I.DSI(if really has problems on cng) will be a regret. And secondly I will be using Ac in my car so what do you think will the pick/acceleration of Wagon R be affected when Ac will be turned on especially on CNG?

On cng, definitely. On Petrol, for normal driving, no. For overtaking on single roads, yes.

Your welcome, ps installing cng on wagon R will void your warranty and also put the car in trouble, so that so called peace of mind of a new car, will definitely be gone

Yes new shape passo can be found around 11 lakh which would be in mint condition. It's the best car.

It might be the best in everything but as with every JDM it's parts are difficult to find and they are expensive too. No doubt JDM cars are great but their parts availability etc. are some serious issues.

Passo is a well known car now. It's part are not that much of a hassle now.

Sorry did not see that message, a little load is there but nothing sluggish, Wagon R engine produces same power as of Vitz, more power than cultus, so it is still very powerful yet economic.

Consider Buying A 7th Gen Civic VTI Prosmatec, you will find a nice one in 9 lakhs

My Dad's 2007 city, 98k odo still genuine..A good honda city Idsi will be much better then Wagon r...

There is no comparison between both cars, and cultus surely is the crappiest car money can buy in 1 million plus rupees...

I recommend you try your luck finding a clean city IDSI (Unlikely) or you can raise your budget a bit and go for Passo used, JDM.

In 12 lacs you can get fresh import, genuine 4 grade. But registration cost and xyz can add up.

You can also try and find a registered passo in 1.1 million, less used locally.

Play it safe option is WagonR VXL, its a much good car in this price by suzuki and those who have bought it have said its very good. But again its a local suzuki... safe nd easy option.

dont go for cultus over wagonR!

let me tell u one thing. nobody will understand the difference between zero meter suzuki (any car) and a used honda or toyota unless they have used both.
i have honda city 2006 idsi (bought second hand and i am second owner) and a suzuki swift 2015 manual (bought in May 2015 zero meter).
believe me theres a hugh difference between every thing. the interior quality, suspension, engine noise, fuel consumption even the quality of customer service between honda and suzuki sss dealers.
my city has no comparison with zero meter brand new swift. Infact not my city every one else' city also. and now i regret buying a swift and i have decided that i will never never ever buy a zero meter car of suzuki in my life.

bro my suggestion is if you are buying your first car then go for cultus (parts r cheap, resale, besides that there is no other thing to consider, geniune suzuki oil filter of cultus is only Rs. 180). if its not your first car than dont go for shitzuki.

Cultus has no comparison with a Wagon R. If you are a family of 4 or 5 persons then try to find a clean idsi & if not , get the Wagon R straightaway!
A brand new car(2016 model) is always better then a years old used car(2004-2007). Plus, i reckon you take a test drive of the Wagon R before making the final call.

I am surprised no one mentioned mira in this range.
The problem with passo and vitz in 1 million budget is that you get older models which are driven 1 lac plus, where as you can find a really clean less driven mira in this range
Another plus point of mira is that its Smart drive versions are very fuel friendly in local , in traffic jams , stop lights etc
Ofcourse if youe have 5 family members its not recommended at all..
I had a budget of 1 mil needed a third car, I bought a 2010 swift 50 k driven, totally satisfied with it , car is running smoothly , i get average of 10 ( this was expected as its a swift)
