yes.. the rear one is someones else. Its illegal. We have to remove the plate. went to the workshop and they lost it. we filed a police report about lost plate. Now both plates will be canceled and new plates will be issued..

The plates are issued by Dept of Motor Vehicle and you can put up on your own.. in NY both front and rear plates are required..

well same stuff happens here as well.. we have to take out the plates before giving to denter.. and if plates are lost than its a major hassel..

both plates required here too
