Somebody tell Mr. Khan that you do not build a car to survive on nationalism or forcing your govt. to buy it. That car just was not good enough and Mr. Khan did not have the capital to survive through the rough period. Those who believed in him made a great loss because neither spares are available to them nor any re-sale value.
If the car were good enough, it would have stood on its own feet and taken the market share. In reality, it was poorly built, not great looking, and neither much cheaper. He would have been much better partnering with a foreign company to produce a cheap car, build upon experience and make a name in the market, get enough dealership network and then try his hand on a new car.
