Breaking issue

Brothers I need to ask something that is disturbing me. I have city 2007 which I got a year ago Initially the brake padel was very hard and it took me quite some time to adjust to it. but one day I started hearing a fruction sound while applying brakes
I went to a mechanic and he told me that I need to have the disks repaired from kharadiya. I had that repair done. as a result that sound which I used to hear while braking disappeared but my brake pedal became soft just like my old mehran
I again went to mechanic and told him this issue
he told me that my front disk pads need replacement as they are very thin and worn out.
I replaced the old disk pads which were original with Nissin disk pads. but despite this replacement my brake pedal is very soft and it presses down deep before I could actually see brakes working. It has never been like before. As I said intially brake pedal was very good and it used to take just a gentle dab from foot I talked to mechanic he said there is nothing wrong with brakes but I doubt it as it has never been like this initially. I also had my rear brake shoe checked they are ok as well. but I m not having the true braking experience. I feel more like mehran brake. I think that kharadiya has messed up with my disks. any idea what could be the reason and what should I do?

I also face this type of issue in my city idsi years back.then solution is always use good quality product
because cheap brake pad cause router odd even from all places when karadiya face it.then original size of router gone and gap between pad and router .(some mechanics says oil ki waja gap fill ho jata hai )but precision gap make this issue

Assalam o Alaikum brother.

Considering what you are saying (brake pedal presses down deep before you feel brakes working), I would recommend you to get your car's brake fluid checked. According to my information, the pedal goes down deep mainly when your brake system is low on brake fliud. Get it checked from a good mechanic.

Secondly, if your brake disk (tawa called by some local mechanics) or prake pads (leather called by some local mechanics) are worn out, I'd recommend you to get new front pads and disks from Honda not other kinds.

I had an issue with my city's brakes too. The problem was that when I used to apply brakes, strong vibrations were felt in brake pedal and in steering wheel with a really disturbing sound. The pedal tried returning back. I could feel the pressure the pedal used to apply back to my foot. It was a struggle keeping the pedal down. My father got the car checked from a mechanic and he advised to get new brake disks (from bilal gunj). He said the brake disks have worn out completely (he also said the not even tooling will help which I think he asked you to get done from khradiya). We agreed and after a week of installation, the issue was back.

That was when we decided to get new brake pads and disks from Honda. Got them installed and it's been a year now. Still work like they should. Enjoying the new brakes. My rear brakes are still fine and working okay. Just the front ones wore out.

The new ones from Honda costed 16000 PKR last year. Now it's up to you if you want to spend a little more money on quality brake parts and be tension free or keep trying the JUGADS our local mechanics will tell you about and have a constant headache.
