what makes me laugh is, regardless of how everything was managed, if the accident wouldnt have happened, the exact people, each and everyone of them who are blaming the organizers in this case, would be praising and acknowledging the organizers for organizing such a "safe, awesome, and well planned event"

very disgusting to see how jealousy, hypocracy, and idiocracy runs through every inch of the people in this country.

Its a nation of wild people, they fight each other when they bang cars,they litter their society,they like to pull each other down,they want to be bigger and better.... etc... Unfortunately my roots run through this country and if my parents were happy to move with me i would have never ever even thought about Pakistan. This is the only reason i have to call it my.

I learn this while working more than 10 years in oil fields & people who are related with oil fields (oil rigs & oil refineries) can understand what I mean.

On daily routine 100 of times I was intimated to have a short run race on Lahore streets like main bulaward or some times in defense roads but mostly I backed off because my safety attitude not allow me to do so.

we need to spread safety awareness, there is zero safety procedures in almost 90% of daily work & jobs we are doing in Pakistan.

If 800HP car was under my belt I will scratch the hell out of organizer a** un till unless every thing was safe and away.............

1.Are Organisers (who so ever) is a person having Professional expereince of organizing these type of events

2.Why there was no emergency vehicle like ambulance it is the responsibility of the organisers .

3.what were the racing conditions that day means surface of the road ,car was schecked prior to race for any faults

4.Were there fitness certificates issued to racers .

5.What was the profile of the racers a part from i have big cash and modified engines .were they really professionals

6.I beleive these questions needs to be answered and many more .you cant say it was destined (jo hota hai Allah ki merzi se hotta hai).i beleive in that but my friends i am looking for these answers as many ppl died that day .

Ambulances were present but i dont think other areas were addressed in any way. It was all based on expereince of previous illegal street racing activities.

Majid lost control of his car. It could happen to ANYONE in an underpowered Civic at anytime, and they would probably crash.

So can we PLEASE stop saying stupid things like "he had an 800 horsepower car so he should have done aircraft-grade pre-flight checks before he drove for a quarter of a mile."
A REASONABLE person would not do that, let alone half the Pakistani qaum.

Regardless of whats been said. there was a loss of human life and it cannot be justified .. NO one cares of the event was legal or illegal ... It is the responsibility of the driver to make sure that car goes in a straight line and running away after the accident is a crime and there is no excuse for that Who ever was the driver of the car should be arrested and there should be a murder trial against him .. I am quiet sure the driver will be pled guilty and probably would be send behind the bars for good

A very sad moment for those who are lost,
I just see that it was totally a management Fault, they didnt took proper precautions for a 'DRAG RACE' we cannot blame the Driver here, because he was meant to 'RACE' and race means to RACE, and cars do fail on tracks and drivers lose control, If the spectators were not allowed to hop on the Hot Road (the Racing Road) it wouldnt have happened only car damaged could have been the End, not the injuries.. and Deaths... Totally toataaly Management Fault, they must be caputered instead of the Driver, because he was just racing that it, And he dont need to know how many people are watching him, he only knew that the competitors car is behind him and should stay behind him and he floored the accelration pedal and lost the control, just you tube yourself and you ill find numerous links of every day race crashing but know one gets hurt because they take protective measure, managment is the key.
