If this had happened to my car when I was racing, my conscience would probably have killed me!!!
I can only imagine the situation the driver of the car must be going through. He came there to race, not to kill innocent people.
Same goes for the spectators, they came there to enjoy watching a race, not to give up their lives.
Ultimately, we must have faith in our Creator for there are events in our lives that may not seem to have a purpose or reason. But Allah knows best...
Again, being member of this massive motor enthusiast community, I suggest we think and act responsibly in all future situations for our own good and the greater good of society. This will only benefit us and keep us safe and also allow us to enjoy activities that are intended to be fun and harmless for everyone.
My sincere condolences and prayers for the families who have lost their loved ones. My prayers for Majid; May Allah give him the strength and courage to deal with this tragic event and do the right thing. May Allah forgive him if he were at any fault. Ameen!
We are PakWheelers, we are motor enthusiasts not murderers and careless people! We openly discourage illegal racing and acts of stupidity. There have been a number of instances where our loved ones have lost their lives in tragic road events. We learn and InshAllah we improve over time.
I feel that organized racing is still the best way of enjoying this sport. We must continue and push for better organization from now on.
In case there are any future events of this kind, I request all drivers, spectators and organizers to be as prepared as possible and always keep SAFETY FIRST.
Thank you.
