i went 2the site asap i didnt giv a rats *** abt the driver i saw 3kids all below the age of 12 on the ground bleedin n yet more were concerned abt the driver. the 2adults died on spot i checked their pulse n breathin while 1of the kids was stil breathin n helped put in the ambulance stil hav blood on my jeans n yet people were tryin 2take pics of the victims
the event was organised n the people were standin behind the border

Such racing does not belong to public roads. Car racing is indeed a sport, but it should be done with safety steps ensured.

Every life is precious. I believe that the driver should not have run away. As of now, tv news says that five persons lost their lives.

At all the guyz who are mad at the driver for using facebook please dunt be naive and childish. i am hurt aur aggrieved on this incident too but the guy might have just used facebook to update his loved n dear ones that he is safe to avoid any rumors.

Moreover had he been updating on pakwheels i am sure u all guys wouldnt have minded it.

All in ALL a sad incident and lives lost in these kinds of events is highly tragic.

Very sad incident indeed. I am reading some childish and extra emotional posts from some friends here. Dont go blaming everyone for the accident. I am very sorry that people died and its sad indeed. May Allah bless their souls. I am glad the driver is safe. Remember that accidents are not intentional, we are all humans and none of us are perfect. Instead of blaming people without first establishing the facts let us just pray for the injured or dead. Blame games are typical Pakistani mentallity. It was an organized race event and I see security people and an ambulance as well on the spot. This is more than you can expect in Pakistan. Drive safe!

you are right. i do agree with you about how accidents may happen. of course they do unintentionally. but when they do already happen. that is when the real test begins about how to cope up with what just happened seconds ago. we are NOT or atleat i am NOT blaming HPR or Majid that it was their fault alone. it just that how things are rightnow after the sad incident. the incident was not in control of Majid or the organizers but after what happened this could be taken care of and how people act at this point tells other about how they feel to a particular event. so again i am saying it that there is no blame game as such but we have a right to discuss things and we all share what we might have heard from someone. many of us may be wrong about our informations. maybe he did try to help. we are not sure as yet. until we have proof. i/we dont want to defame the organizer or the driver or whoever, its just that we want justice for the people who have lost a dear one.

i heard the people killed/injured were asked to stand on the other side of nala but they climbed over it to get a better view.....hence were standing next to the strip!

It was said.....do safety 1st then rely on luck and ALLAH
they know everything can happen...car can loose control...tyre can burst.....suspension can gave up due to torque stress or driver can loose control.... so car will go sideways
we already have accident in KHI few months back as car directly goes sideways....

In March, another PakWheels member lost his life and his friend got seriously injured. After that tragic incident, many members criticized speed racing. I believe PakWheels does not promote speed racing. At the same time, we see some members boasting about the horsepower of their vehicles.

Kindly adopt a stricter policy on such postings, whether they are by senior members or others. Thank you
