Salam, this is my first post around here..!
This might be a stupid question but I really want some clarifications about the topic I have in my head..
Do you guys think that its still possible to bring any car to Pakistan by road? Yeah, its 2016, and we can't buy crap other than 3 year old cars.. But I know that there must be some way.. some way to bring cool cars by road...
Think about the Ferrari F430 Spider in Karachi and the white Lamborghini Gallardo coupe in Lahore, they appeared recently and no doubt they are more than 3 years old cars, how did they enter??
So I created a theory that I could possibly bring a car, say, from UK, and enter Pakistan through either Afghanistan or Iran.. So if I bought the car legally, and brought the car along with its legal documents, plus possessing my passport, visa and all of that, surely I won't be stopped 'cuz I entered in the 'wrong car' or something.. If that was the case, then what if another Pakistani happens to live in Iran and wishes to come back to his country by road with the car he bought there.. check post officers or custom duty officers won't stop that person from entering right?
And since I have my car's legal documents to carry, I can simply send my car for registration and obtain my Sindh's registration plate.. that's it right?
I dunno please do clarify me if this is not right or complete utter crap and leaving me no choice but to buy 660cc cars that I am tired of driving and not seeing cars that I want to in Pakistan, like a 2004 BMW M3.. it would be soo cool..!
Thanks and have a nice day!
