Bringing Car Tyres from USA to Pakistan in Checked Luggage

Assuming there is no problem from the airline and TSA here, would it be allowed to bring 4 tyres for personal use in my checked luggage by Pakistani authorities? I have plenty of space and the same Bridgestone tyres are almost twice the price in Pakistan. I don't think I should have to pay any duty since they are for my personal car.

as per law in the book, yes you can bring in duty & tax free for personal use. Whereas in Pakistan only might is right, the babu ego is most crucial to determine your right. Not what is defined in law book.

I was actually thinking the same. To bring tyres from Oman to Pakistan for my car.

Why woukd you do that? Itll be much cheaper to buy them locally.

sir @xulfiqar brand names like yokohama bridgestone dunlop etc have become 'Premium' priced items. a 165 SR xx size 15 tyre of these 3 brands is over & above 18000 a piece.

A Yokohama 165 65 15 tire in Canada is set at a price of $166 cad, without tax.

That translates to about 33,000 Rs per tire without tax.
