It's alright since we all had a certain very televised, advertised and spicy case hanging in court to keep us entertained, but seriously though I was worried about what happened, I thought maybe you sold it...
Nah bro, not selling it anytime sooner. Not till another year because I'm going to change the engine again when I'll find a good 2JZ twin turbo in the future. But for the time being, I'll keep running it this way.
Glad to hear that, still waiting on those updates and BOL!
Insha'Allah will start updating the thread from tomorrow onwards.
good to see an accountant / auditor with great care and passion for cars.
I am a CA working in FFC with articles from KPMG Islamabad.
Great to know, bro. And thank you so much =)It's all in my blood.
I was at mactec today as the work has started. They've relocated the chamber today and cleaned the engine from inside as well, flushed all the fluids. The engine bay will be cleaned tomorrow & they'll assemble the engine. Ali (the owner of mactec) will keep updating me with the pictures & videos and I'll keep sharing them with you all here. Till then, here are a few pictures from today.
The flushed fluids
The engine from inside, all clean.
The oil filter & chamber, getting cleaned.
All clean
Totally exhausted!
Kept resting in the RX7, the sun was irritating me like nuts, had no shade to sit under since the mechanics had the shaded area covered you guys can add me on Snapchat or Instagram for live updates as well. The username for both is ABDULMUNIMQADRI
Wow work seems fast paced now and very thorough, please do post some photos of the rx7 if you can , looks pretty sweet in that red.
Yes its all paced up since I'm supervising it myself. I went to Islamabad late night, now coming back to Lahore and will visit the workshop again, will stay there till the midnight like I was there yesterday. I'll post the RX7's pictures in a while.
Some pictures of the RX7. It's got a twin turbo rotary under the hood.
That diffuser is nice. Is it actually carbon or just carbon fibre design?
Its actual carbon fibre.
Visited the workshop today as I won't be able to check it till the next weekend. Got the entire suspension changed, the engine has been assembled but not properly fitted because the suspension was all broken & rusty. Will post the pictures shortly. Just got back home from the workshop after 5 hours.
Okay guys, so they were changing the suspension without telling me because they had to fit the engine & it was impossible to get it fitted overthe previous suspension. Here are some pictures of the work progress today.
