EPS is more efficient. if we only talks about technology it's better and changes stiffness with respect to speed while hydraulic is not so good in it.
Eps doesn't take any engine mechanic power to work. it increases efficiency of engine.

Eps was designed as an alternative because the hps requires more maintainable. The eps is more efficient for a normal car. Most people in this forum have actually never driven a good sports car. Eps is cheaper to maintain but also heavier and feels fake and usually for very light steering. Hydraulic on the other hand has usually a heavier and more connected feel too the car and it weighs less too. Look at mclaren they still work with hydraulic steering. The 720s had been applauded to have the best steering feel in it's class. A class that is filled with the like of huracan and 488gtb.

Coming to the"afwah" party. Seriously? You think you know more about driving feel and have more experience than automobile journalists that have been driving super cars for last 2 decades. Check any professional review of a car and the journalist will always prefer a hydraulic rack over an eps until now because eps still has a long way to go to meet the feeling of hydraulic. Still, newer eps racks are getting better and alot of journalists are amazed at the performante's eps. Eps now seems more likely to be put in a car because it is variable. In normal/comfort mode it can be light to help to drive in city while in sports or race mode it gets heavier to facilitate control especially on track. Hope this helps. People take time to adjust and admit anything new. And all these things happens in such period. Don't mind but you're in that.
Some people still use carby in drag racing. If you ask them they reply carby is better this, that....we also start saying same? You know what is better.
The less mechanical load on the engine the better it can perform.
That fake feel is the working of EPS.
Make the steering light at low speed.
Why hps can't do the same? Because your engine is revving at low speed. It's the working of HPS. Limited,dependent on engine,dependent on RPM.
There's complex engineering behind any car don't say that it has HPS because of better feel did you asked the engineer who designed that car? This is called afwah!
Admit new technology.
Now variable compression and free valve engine are coming. You will hear same about them.

Eps is nothing new my 2011 gli had an eps. When you're in the market for a sports car only speed does not matter. The handling plays a big part in selling a car and getting good reviews. The new gen eps are getting very good. Yes. They will replace hydraulic racks. Yes.

And for saying the car performs better. The 720s has a hydraulic rack and it obliterates the huracan in a drag race. The huracan has an eps. People may argue that the 720s has about 100hp more tgan huracan but there are videos where a stock 720s destroys a huracan that was supercharged to 800hp.

Once again i know eps WILL replace hydraulic racks.

There are reviews also you can check the spec details in a 720s. It in fact has a hydraulic steering rack if thats what you're arguing.

Leave track. There's no eps or hps in a pure track car. Again engineering hit it and they got manual not a conventional manual specially designed racks.
Reviews nae bhai. Ap manufacturer engineers sa poucho uno na aesa keu kiya. Kea reason rahi according to chassis unaien aesa krna pra. Ager unka specific reason road feel hoe then I'll agree. In cars ma jitni complex calculations hoti hai people can't even imagine. Logon ko us system ka bara ma jo acha lagta hai log to voe reason kahaien gy.

He said that the car was an original e36 m3 but got problems and the engine was swapped for 3s gte

Not dead bro, I've been busy with work so much that I didn't get time to visit the workshop and I got the work paused for 2 weeks so that they can continue once I get back.
