Brv 2019 engine rainwater damage , not covered under warranty/insurance (?)

Dear Sir,

I have dropped my Honda BRV at Honda Centre, 300 Peshawar Road app race course, Rawalpindi on Friday 27 Sept 2019 around 9am for post 10,000 km service with a compliant on “missing”.

However, during my visit on Monday 30th Sept Mr Ahmed Raza at Honda Centre showed me a damaged engine, and advised me that the Engine needs to be serviced/overhauled as it was damaged by rainwater, which will cost me a substantial amount ( pictures of the engine are attached) as it is not a design or manufacturing fault, and not covered under warranty either.

As I have insurance via TPL as per recommendations of Honda Centre Rawalpindi, Mr. Azhar Khan from TPL based on the same location i.e. Honda Centre Rawalpindi, also have a look at the engine and refused to take this case under Insurance

How can the water get inside the engine unless its gets in through air intake.

does that comprehensive coverage engine failure due to hydrolock ?
it happens when you knowingly attempt to drive / or cross water current level above the air intake / exhaust. & engine stalls in middle due to hydro lock.

a dead parked vehicle if submerged over the intake / exhaust line may have such coverage,.for internal cosmetic / electronics damage not a hydro-locked engine.

dear sir, i already mentioned due to floodings/rains. if you recall two years back in Saadi Town Karachi, the cars were fully submerged in rain water due to flooding. so i was referring to such cases. not that one goes to service station and have a million gallon of water pressure wash on engine and then go for an insurance claim. since the person mentioned 'rain water' so i assumed it was a similar flooding type scene. also, in such cases it have to be established that the damage was due to such submersion.

Please google it. Its a govt department for complains regarding insurance disputes
