Brother its the same engine which was installed at the time you bought the car or you bought it afterwards.. secondly its the stock engine of Accord or some swap has already been done.
Please guide.

This is from a 2005 civic etc, the factory ironblock engine of this accord is quite robust but very oldschool,

Installing the d17 civic is not an upgrade but weird surgery as a lot of structural member is cut to make space for the transmission

Have you painted over the wiring harness of the engine?

@haroon47 the engine was already swapped in when I bought the car, it's a D17A motor linked to an automatic gearbox which is out of a civic ES as well.

It came with an A16A originally from the factory, the guy I bought it from already swapped in the D17.

No bro, the wiring harnesses were lifted by a helper while the painter was painting the engine.
They're already covered though but still, didn't risk painting directly over them. The extra paint that was over the wiring was cleaned down.

ok that is great.Did you check the condition of the Engine? I mean how much compression test values it has, any heatup issues stuff like that???

It was a fresh swap, the guy swapped it two weeks before selling it.
There are no leakages, no heat up issues either.
I didn't get the compression test done as of yet, will get that done once the car's ready, I drove it till 180 km/h without any issues, no vibrations, no engine knocking, just requires an oil change that'll be done once the car is back on roads.

p.s. the original forward canted B18A and B20A for this car are extremely rare to find.
