pop up ka apna shashka hai. but its gonna be difficult to get that done properly
orignal look suits the car more this box type pop up suits old corolla type car or atleast rx7 ......Otherwise accord in last picture is stunning. For different taste if you can easily swap like have half cut car or something it would be nice to see popup accord.....
Any update? Because workshops here in Lahore are open.
The workshop I had to get my work done from wasn't open, it's opening tomorrow so I'll be handing over the car tomorrow. Everyone on this thread can also subscribe to my YouTube channel since I'll be documenting the entire build there as well.
Yes I've thought a lot about it and decided to stick with the original lights.
Alright guys, I've handed over the car at the workshop.Project Honda Accord CA5 has officially started, Alhumdulilah =)
I'll be documenting the entire build on YouTube as well, so you all can subscribe to my channel as well to watch every bit.www.youtube.com/abdulmunimqadri
This is the position of the interior right now, luckily, there are no cracks in the dashboard, the door inserts are complete, all the switches are in pristine condition and they're working as well.
There is a lot of filler I suppose, can't make a judgement until they start stripping down the paint. The rusted pieces will obviously be replaced with newer metal sheets, rest, I'll keep updating the thread as well as document the entire build on my YouTube channel, I'd love it if you all can subscribe to the channel and stay tuned there as well!
Here's the reason for buying this car, I'd say this is the cheapest VTEC ever, atleast for me.
Built Not Bought S1:E1 is up on YouTube!Do watch it!
Day 2: The denter started working on the rear panel, by stripping down the paint first.
He's using this paint remover, locally manufactured by Shalimar Organics
The paint and filler came off quick and well, thanks to the paint remover, otherwise it was a pain in the ass. The previous owner sure did *****up the car with a cheap paint job.
The door locks, door mouldings, door inserts, door glasses, everything was disassembled.
Gladly, the workshop owner inspected the car and told me that the car's in complete seals from inside, Alhumdulilah for that.
Say hello to metal
Episode 2 of Built Not Bought is up on my YoutubeDo watch it, comment with your opinions as well!
Guys, I'm posting the updates on a public forum so that we all can discuss the project. No responses make me feel like I'm just talking to myself Attendance please? I'll start posting about day 3
Okay so here's the update from DAY 3
