Sorry for being away, I was taking my time to recover from the loss of my beloved grandfather, I guess that's what life really is, no matter who you've lost, no matter how dear they were to you, the void stays whereas the show of life, must go on.
Let's continue from where I left off, these updates will be interesting for you all, they're worth the wait.

So, the engine bay was sanded and a coat of white primer was applied to get visibility on the kind of work that is still required to get that perfect finish, and for that? We obviously needed some more bondo/putty since those areas that we'll be working on? They're critical points where the grinding and cutting won't help.

THE BASECOAT
Finally, after years, literally 2 years of the car hanging between getting waster or getting painted, I thought of getting the basecoat along. Financial instability strikes hard when you're buying more project cars while the previous ones aren't being completed, YES, I GAVE YOU GUYS A HINT THAT THERE ARE MORE PROJECT CARS THAT YOU GUYS WILL GET TO SEE FROM MY END AND LET ME TELL YOU, ONE OF THEM IS SO RARE THAT EVEN AN OWNERSHIP THREAD DOESN'T EXISTS ON PAKWHEELS FORUMS.

EXTERIOR - THE PAINT JOB
Salam everyone
I started this project in 2021 and the car finally got painted after 3 years!
I had a list of options to choose from, choosing the color family itself was a tough job, but I finally decided to go for grey.
The options I had in grey were
1. Audi Nano Grey
2. Audi Daytona Grey
3. Nardo Grey
4. Honda Gun Metallic (Civic FD)
5. Hyundai Hampton Grey (Sonata)

And I finalized Audi's Daytona Grey & well, you guys decide how it turned out to be!

Khyber came with a dark metallic grey in the last of Limited edition variants.

Also Suzukis new mineral Grey the darker one that comes with Swift, Wagonr and Every is so pretty too.

The pearls/metallic flakes in Suzuki's OEM grey weren't up to my expectations
Daytona Grey changes it's shades as per the lighting, the pearls were great and I was paying PKR 9800/Ltr for the paint, wanted to spend that kind of money on a worthy shade.
