Could always open a family mart kind of store near a populated Colony/housing area. They tend to make loads of profits =)
And to help the customers more, have a free delivery system. They could either sms/message on Facebook,twitter etc what they need and have some of the staff deliver the items to their house. That really helps out busy people who suddenly get un-invited guests, forget last few items for that Curry etc.

Please don't confuse revenues with profits. Sure they do have higher revenues but profits are slim usually, until or unless you are operating on scale of HKB or Al fatah.

But, some marts are 1-3 rupee overpriced as Marhaba store on Canal Road Faisalabad, Nestle 500ml cost 20 Rs in normal shops, they sell it for 22 RS and they operate a fast-food chain along a CNG filling station on the same premise! Buy groceries-Fill cng-Feel hungry and grab a burger Business techniques i say!

im thinking to buy some 2008-10 models of sazgar cng rik-sh. they may b rented as min @ 300per day. But will be paying back within 1 yr. rite now im only thinking

being an educated person one cannot deal with the driver mentality, you have to bring down your attitude and life to their level so that you can deal with them. you being in karachi and the current environments of karachi this business is on top in the charts of risky businesses.

^^I used to think like that and I was at fault. Education and wisdom are different things. You can find many paray likey jahil around you.
Most practical people like the lower working class have to face realities of life from a very early age and they are the most mature people you could ever meet. Change this attitude and you would see the truth.

this is the risk attached with normally transport business. THERE IS NO ANY BUSINESS WITHOUT RISK

risk free idea is to deposit the Rs at bank and enjoy its return

My uncle opened a clothing factory in karachi. He got a parchi from MQM asking for bhatta. My uncle closed down the factory and moved to Sargodha. He has been very successful ever since.
