Business In Islamabad/Rawalpindi Region

Hi everyone. hope so you are well. and must have spent a great Eid. i am here on Pakwheels after long time. And Want some support from members. I am student of BBA Hons. 7th Semester. and having investment of RS. 8-9 Million In hand. actually i wanna start a business in RWP/ISB region. so want some suggestions from you people. which one to go for.
My personal view is that In Pakistan.. Hoteling & Agricultural sector are the ever green businesses to go for.

what you people think. Serious suggestions Pls.

P.S: Investment can be increased as per requirement

i wudnt recommend u to start business as soon as u leave university, why dont u look for a job, get some experience, like 2-3yrs and then start ur business? theres a lot of potential in solar energy work at the time.u have enough capital to start with and solar energy is where CNG was in 2001-2002.theres gonna be a huge boom in it in the near future... u can import the stuff, do mass marketing n if all gets along nicely, u ll be earning a handsome amount.

im myself exploring this field and i ve seen that a few big companies are actually looking for distributions in pakistan ... and no big party is working in it as of now ... which means there isnt any hard competition.

Our family is also in the hospitality business and i would highly recommend setting up a guest house in Islamabad. However, in order to compete and maintain a certain standard you will need to invest somewhere around 15 million to have a proper setup.

My first advise to you is to wait for 2 more Years and get a masters degree in business administration first.
After that go for food, health and education related business. Better to get some experience first, or you'll have to bear loses in the start.

poultry business is gud,provided u go for the closed environment sheds.The turn over rate of closed environment shed is 99% whereas for open sheds it varies between 60-80%.u can also get sheds on rent if u wanna do this on trial basis.

if you can, then get a job cause these days are the toughest days for our economy. the country economy is having a steep nose dive. people running different sort of business for decades are unfortunately winding up due to recession, corruption and uncertainity. every concerned department is asking for comission!

I am not trying to be be pessimestic, but if i were you, i ll rather start a job to ve some practical experience and wait for the right time!

some will say the right time for business is never gonna come but believe me it will. if not ideal it would certainly be better than this one!

^^^hey bro can u share the research u have put in?

bro havent made any proper research work, just searched for hours on internet, looked for companies which are working in this field in and out of pakistan. watched video demonstrations/consumer reviews of the product and also its working principle.u can do it all easily on the internet if interested.i cudnt pursue the idea bcuz of my age, and my father is already very busy running our present business so i ve the idea on the hold for right now.

btw, theres a member on pw, jeepaholic@pw, i once talked to him about this in a mini pw meet and he said that he was about to start working in this field.but never talked again about it,u can ask him for details and im sure he wud be helpful...

poultry and potential are two opposite words. With the amount of growth that has taken place in the last 3-4 years do you still think there is margin for new comers like you or even the existing players? It is basic economic knowledge that the more competitors in a business, smaller is the margin and eventually, everyone ends up in losses except the powerful some.
