Buy Army Auction Land Cruiser RKR

Hi,
So I am new to this community so please bare with my little knowledge of it.

I am planning on buying an army auction RKR, this will be my first 4x4/project car. I have picked some information from here and there but I still don't have solid knowledge of the subject.

What constructed my decision towards starting on to build was
1. The beauty of it.
2. My love for travelling.

So I am not a hard core off road traveler but I make sure to have my piece of thrill by traveling once or twice a year. I would be using the ride as daily driven as well. I currently reside in lahore.

So my very first few questions are.

1. I think I should go for land cruiser rkr fj70 1992? are there any other options?
2. Where can I get a army auction vehicle?
3. What should be a price range of the vehicle at auction condition?
4. What should be my direction to start the project?

1,Try to find model 1997 or above being coil springs
2, A freind bought from Karachi a showroom at University road near old vegitable mandi
3,Depends upon condition model but your total project cost should be within 1M
4,Buy a vehicle

It's not a cheap project to begin with, the restoration will very well cost you well above your budget. A safe bet is buying a restored vehicle that is being sold at a decent price. Just to give you an idea, my friend did a complete restoration, down to the frame, new 1HZ engine and a lot of extras, the whole process took almost 8 months and the final cost of the vehicle stands at 3.2 million.
