I am looking to buy vitz used in range of 15 to 16 lakh. I want to keep it for 3 years. Now i have city prosmatic 18 1.5. I am not enjoing ride at all. Basically i like hatch back. I used swift for six years. I was happy with it but i needed auto so bought city. Is vitz comfortable in hill areas. With 4 to 5 persons. And parts as imported cars are almost stopped. So in future will spares b easily awailable

What do you mean by comfortable in hill areas? Define your requirements.

IF you get Vitz 1.0, then it will have much less power than both City and Swift (for hills). So you might not enjoy it there, if you like pressing on the accelerator and making the car just take off. With 4-5 people again slower on inclines/hills - but should still climb just fine, just not with quick acceleration.

Within cities it's awesome.. again don't expect super quick acceleration. But ride comfort is great.

You'll literally hate vitz for being very sluggishly responsive. Atleast i hated the one i drove for test drive. I pressed the paddle and then get to hear a lot of engine noise in the cabin. Have a test drive before you purchase one.

Being user of local cars, i was driving it the same way on a speed breaker and heard a very strange sound from suspension. It was something i can't really explain but wasn't any issue with suspension. It was like the shocks were too short that they couldn't extend down the length of the speed breaker or something. Sorry for confusion lol

Vitz 1.0 isn't known for its acceleration. Yes engine does make sound on pressing the pedal hard. Top speed is great though even with 4-5 people on roads like motorways. It's built for economy, 1krfe.

Have to be careful on huuge speed breakers as it touches, otherwise suspension is softer than City and ride is comfortable.

Vitz tiny 1.0L engine mated with cvt will give you problem in hilly areas, especially with 4-5 people on board. I own manual city 1.3 and whenever i drive my brothers 1.0 vitz i get frustrated. The response is sluggish “gari uthate nh ha”. 1.0 plus cvt is a recipe for economy not drag race or hill climb sort of stuff. If you want power go for 1.3 vitz but it is rare. You might need to import one

Bro Vitz 1.0L is a good car (I myself own one), but not comparable to City, which is a Sedan and has more powerful engines.

City sell kar k Vitz laina, is like; "Koori waich k Majj ley laina" (in English, it means buy a cow after selling a horse, i.e. Bewakuufi)

I would suggest to continue with City, rest, your money, your choice!

if you want power in vitz get new one 1.5 hybrid i think.
1krfe vitz is alot comfortable and made for economy but its not powerful like 1.3 car

yes vitz is sluggish in initial acceleration but problem in hilly area is not true. Go and visit Gilgit, hunza and Skardu and u ll see hell lot of NCP vitz. Vitz perform good in hilly terrain. cant say it very good as it gets slow on ascend but it keeps going.

True till you come to a complete halt on steep ascend, otherwise there is no issue.

True; i witnessed alot of vitz 1st generation in Landi-kotal; mostly used as a taxi.

change from City Prosmatic 1.5 (2018 model) to Vitz is a bad idea at all. when ever you want to upgrade - your only options can be either Corolla Altis 1.6, Altis 1.8, Civix X or Grande depending upon budget. I never heard any thing bad about City Prosmatic 1.5 except "badnam-e-zamana" suspension. The maximum you can do with your current ride is change of tyres or some expert can give u his opinion if some thing can be done with suspension coils etc..

"Mashwara" is an "Imanat", and iss mein "Khayanat" nai karni chaheye! and neither one should be like k jo cheez aapko pasand ho, aap ussi ki tareefain kartay jyein, bull k zameen aasmaan k qalabay milatay jyein, and baqi subko "ragar" dein (as most of the members do here, especially in case of JDM Vs PKDM). Jo sai hai, wo sai hai; jo galat, so galat.
