Buying a brand new Altis 1.6

The price of Altis 1.6 is 3.2 Million. Having asked many car dealers, people are saying the price is about to drop and we should wait 5-10 months. One banker is saying additional taxes are to be imposed.

Please suggest what should I do?

Edit; Thank you for the positive response. At the moment, Toyota airport motors have 5-6 black Altis on open invoice. Please suggest whether these are reliable to buy and what to look for in the inspection so that any major fault can be picked up at the spot. Should I bring someone experienced/mechanic along? Unfortunately i suggest that you opt for some good Japanese machine in 2 M range. It wont gain or loose a lot in next 2-4 years hopefully which would be more suitable i guess.

This is not a good time to buy. But cars prices will either go up or stay at same price. Make up your mind what you want .

You can get Civic 2015-16 at the price of 21-23.

Car prices are not going to drop..if you want a sedan and want to save some money on fuel then u should go for 1.3M GLI rather than 1.6altis auto... other wise 1.3M and 1.6Auto both are very good and reliable sedan...but don't even imagine price drop in near future

First, prices usually never come down, considering next quarter end is coming and dollar will dry up in market pushing the price of dollar up again.

Second, I highly doubt new taxes will be imposed mid year and there is no rumor in market even, whoever told you that must have his/her motivation to lie.

Altis 1.6 is a good car and value for money.

If you browse the market you can buy 1.6 Altis with (27.56lac invoice) at 29-30 lac easily. Brand new zero meter.

Best time to buy anything is "Present"/"Now" always... since we cant make purchases in past and future is most uncertain in Pakistan.

You have the money then just buy the car, but next generation corolla is expected in September 2020..
check those open invoices I'd they are new or old ones. Because dealership selling old invoice cars on new prices. So either take Good discount or opt for new invoice

All Corolla variants are avalible under invoice value plus additional benefits. No prices are coming down. They might jump up. 1.6 altis is the best buy.

Yes old invoice car is available for 30.5 Lacs but having these issues;
The invoice price is low i.e 26.6 Lacs or 27.4 Lacs and therefore have to give 'own' of 4.40 Lacs or 3.10 Lacs with which you have no receipt.

. So here's my advice with experience , Go for altis 1.6 , it the best variant of all the corolla . i have 20181.3 gli At ,2019 1.6 altis and 2019 Grande . and out of all these 1.6 is the best , 1.3 lacks power and has the worst fuel avg , and grande is just not worth close to 40 lac. I bought my 1.6 with own for 27.75 and just few days before eid i had an offer for 31 lac and a week before for 31.50 . So they hold there value . dont go for any Japanese crap , go for a car that you can sell rite away . Prices are not coming down anytime soon but they will increase in a few months .

Ur registration cost will decrease on old innvoice . What other option u have if u dont pay own . U will pay more than own money for new innvoice plus ur registration charges will increase
