tbh if we look at the trend of Pakistani car market we learn that not even once in a history of Pakistan has the prices drop even if dollar rate decrease its all false tht prices will go down. as the owner of altis 1.6 2017 i would highly recommend this car it has a good market value. and it will satisfy all the needs a person is looking for in a luxury car.
As a importer of Japanese cars in this price i would only recommend Honda Vezel or honda Grace( keeping in mind grace has very limited market and resale value if ur looking to sell in 2 or 3 years thn never mind)
p.s if u have a more budget i would recommend Grande or 1.8 civic oriel prosmatic..

If you still havnt made a purchase.

Consider the simple 1800cc Altis CVT (non Grande) version. It's the best option if you want to keep the car and dont care about resale. You would probably get the best deal (undercoat for this trim) and probably enjoy 1.8 Corolla in price of the 1600cc

1.8 Altis, it's like a Grande but without a sunroof, therefore, it's sometimes called hardtop Grande or 1.8 Altis. Hope I'm saying it correctly.

Any car can get stolen, even the expensive ones. Thieves these days are equipped with high-tech devices to crack immobilizer codes. Especially in Islamabad, where a group of such thieves is constantly stealing people’s car, mostly Corollas, and they can crack any car’s code regardless of its model or brand.

If you're really concerned about your car’s safety, (which you definitely are), then getting it insured can reduce your problems to an extent.

Again, the car and brand is nothing for the thieves that are stealing cars in ISB. Any car can get stolen, EASILY.

I have found some tips to help corolla users as their immobiliser gets cracked,
1- Install unbreakable shields on rear quarter glass, if you cant do this then get your rear lock buttons disabled
2- Never use remote unlock or lock button, always use key to lock or press lock button with door open and then lift door handle and close door, this way hi tech thieves wont be able to steal your remote signal/ immobiliser freq
3- Those with smart entry should also not use remote and only use touch pad under door handles to unlock and button on door handles to lock cars
I still believe that engine immobiliser and physical key ignition systems to be the safest !

Cars with smart key entry system are the ones most at risk. Regular remote keys emit signals when clicked only. Which makes it a little harder to get the signal on their device.

However, smart keys are always emitting signals, if your car is parked outside of your house then they know that the key is definitely nearby, they'll walk around the house to get the trace of the signal, once the device detects it, they'll go back to your car and the device will mimic the same signal to your vehicle. And just like that, boom your car is unlocked and ready to be push started.

I think the best way is to install a kill switch inside your car, if you do it properly. Then the vehicle will stand still and it won't start.
