[QUOTE=Automotorsport_Lover;3965677]1000 VA, 600 watts cyber power is enough for you in 8-10 hrs loadshedding for alternate hrs... But more than that would be troubling. Ur ups might shutdown...
That's why I was asking u to consider 24 volt ups. The reason is: with 12 volt ups u get backup from 12volts full charged battery till 9 volts... A 3 volt margin before the ups gives beep and shuttsdown... But with 2 battries you have: 24 volts till 18 volts, 6 volt margin before ups would die... This means double backup.
I have been to market today and considering ur advises i talked with the shop keeper.... he told me that cyber power in stock does not have that button of changing the amp for charging but may be in the new stock which is in the shipment might have that button... secondly he told me that whether i buy 12 volt ups or 24volt ups the back up will be dependent on the batteries for example if i place 2 batteries of 85amp total back up will be from 170 amp and if i place a battery of 175 amp single so there wont be any change in the backup.... he was saying that the differences between 12 & 24volts is that it can run more fans like 8, and 24volt does do rapid charging instead of a 12volt ups.... so I got a bit confused like u said ke 12volt will give less backup and 24volt will give more backup..... :o
