I looked it up on pakwheels and a basic city 1.3 I.vtec in this range is minimum driven above 76000 kms.
do you think a car driven that much would be maintenance free?
do you think Honda city millage is better than Suzuki wagon r and jdm cars?
My brother city gives him 15.2 in local with AC.

No used car, PKDM or JDM will be maintenance free. So don't expect to me tension free with a used car.

Buy a 0-meter car which ever comes in your range and remain tension free for at least some years.

By maintenance I meant "visiting workshop every week". there are a lot of cars in jdm and pkdm category. can you specifically suggest me which one of them has best mileage?

Bro...my experience with city has been quite good...I have a 2017 model...and it has been driving quite well...it is nearly as reliable as a Toyota...but it depends in what area the car has been driven...if it has been driven in Islamabad only then it would remain in good shape as roads are quite well built...but what I can tell you...parts are readily available...and yes maintenance as compared to toyota is reasonable...I don't know too much about mileage but it is relatively good compared to a gli....

Slightly used WagonR, New Alto. These will be the best cars if you're a new driver.
If you're relatively experienced, then you can go for a 10th gen Corolla or a City.

i agree. for a student and range New suzuki alto serves you better. Old cars leads you much to Mechanics rather then university. Go for PKDM Alto, enjoy the joyful ride for at least 4 years. Good luck

Go for JDMs like Mira, Hustler or Mirage. They'll give you good fuel average. If you can drive a manual then new local Alto is also a good option.

Buying a used car can be hassle free if you know what you are doing. My cousins are mechanics so i have bought older clean cars after getting it checked by them. 76000 is not a lot if properly maintained. Jdm hatchbacks are better if hou want auto but they are expensive now in good condition

I would prefer Wagon R because of it's 1000cc engine, Alto 660 would struggle with AC in summer.

Based on my judgement, I would suggest at least 1000 cc hatchback, and in that, PKDM Wagon R and Celerio / Cultus are reasonable options. In Sedan, 4th / 5th gen Honda City seem the only options, or you may skip Sedan altogether and go for hatchback, if fuel efficiency and especially low maintenance are your main priorities.

You can buy any of these cars, which matches your budget.

Regarding any 660 cc hatchback, that would be last recommendation IMO.

Still, if inclined and interested in 660 cc, then brand new PKDM Alto only!

660 cc used JDMs, which have further been used here, may be avoided.

In terms of engine and transmission choice, I suggest you Hyundai Verna, Verna has an advantage over any other sedan in the segment. It gets an exciting 1.0-litre turbo-petrol (120 PS, 172 Nm) mated with 7-DCT, and a 1.5-litre petrol (115 PS and 200 Nm) with 6-speed manual or IVT.
