My guide of buying a used phone has only one rule:
- NEVER BUY A USED PHONE.
So... Forget about used phones. Most used phone shops run a shady business. It's true. Their روزی relies on lies and deceit; otherwise they'll run out of business.
They will make all sort or promises and swear about all sort of things to sell you a phone but when (Not 'if', 'when') you encounter a problem and go back to them for some answers; they'll look at you as if you're an annoying beggar asking for some loose change and will try to shoo you away like one!
And the conversation; which is more like arguing will eventually lead to these final words:
".جا بھائی، میرا سرنہ کھا۔ کسی اور دکان پر چلا جا"
Even you try to sell them back the phone they just sold to you a few days ago; they would REFUSE to even touch it; let alone buy it; even if you're willing to pay a premium!
They'll say something along the lines of:
"بھائی جان، اِس سیٹ کی آجکل اتنی ڈیمانڈ نہیں ہے۔ یہ سیٹ بھی ہم نے بڑی مشکل سے نکالا ہے"
And you'll start to think and wonder about all their promises and praises they made about the VERY SAME phone just a few days ago! How can a phone possibly lose its demand in a matter of few days?
In short, avoid used phones like the plague. Not just any plague; but
THE BLACK PLAGUE!
So... Any takers?
