Policies in Pakistan are seldom clear, so no problem in checking with experienced people.
I asked about price difference because if car price goes up and you haven't paid full price, then at time of delivery you have to pay the new higher price, that's how it always works. Now if the prices have gone down, then it stands to reason that at the time of delivery if full price hasn't been paid then the person shouldn't have to pay full either. It's an open-invoice car.
I never want to support the mafia but you can check forum & facebook. People are raising hell for not getting deliveries after 6 months or more - mainly of new Chinese entrants. Yesterday I was at a dealer, and personally witness 3 guys come in and make noise about still not getting delivery, the sales guy quickly took them to GM's office, away from customers. Ironically, when I asked the sales guy about delivery date, he confidently said November.
The only reason I'm resorting to own, is because we have a wedding coming up and need to upgrade the car. Its not the right thing to do but I don't have energy to fight with sales people/dealership next 6-9 months over the delivery date.
