Assalamualaikum.
Well I think we have this in common, we also needed a second car, in the same budget, and a hatchback because of space.
And we bought Cuore Automatic 2006.
It has been 10 months since then. So far, it has been a bitter Sweet experience.
First, the good:
1. Cuore is much more luxurious than other local hatchbacks. The bucket type, cushion seats, coupled with independent rear suspension, make for a comfortable ride.
2. The automatic transmission is awesome. The pick of cuore automatic is simply amazing, it is a zippy car with amazing handling. However, the 3-speed automatic suffers on 100 kph+ speeds.
3. Cuore Automatic is the easiest car to drive. The steering is as light as power steering, and the car is a joy to drive in traffic. My sister drove it easily in her first try.
4. Parts are readily available and are affordable. No worries about that.
Now for the cons:
1. In my experience, the car has not been reliable because my car was abused by previous owners. If you can find a good car like @geek.maan bhai has, you will be very happy. It all depends.
2. Fuel average on petrol is okay. My 3-speed auto gives around 10-11 km/l without AC. With AC and traffic, it gives 8-9 km/l.
Even with all the amount I spent on my cuore, I still keep it because no other car satisfies me but this. You can follow a comprehensive review, maintainence cost, and journey of my ownership of the car on the cuore automatic maintainence manual:
