2014 should have new lights and bumpers facelift model. But that came in 2014 April. So please check month of this car

I don't think mechanic will be necessary. If the auction sheet is genuine and authentic, that is proof enough that the car is good to buy.

No problem. Ask them for auction sheet. Take a pic and post it here. Members can verify it for you. Although my friend was not given any auction sheet with his vitz. So be careful. I dont trust people at shalimar motors. Who is dealing btw ? Waqar sahab or Zahoor shahab?

I see. Even I don't know how to verify an auction sheet. I know members here who can. Beware as a fake sheet can also be there. It's best if you don't buy the car tomorrow, just visit them and ask for auction sheet along with papers. Post it here. If verified buy it the next day, if that doesn't present a problem.

As for my friend's vitz. Mechanically and physically it seems to be pristine. I have driven it too. No issues at all. Still the missing auction sheet seems fishy to me.

For 1.5 millions you can buy a lot of better cars than Vitz. A 0 meter City is better in all aspects, power, space, styling etc

1.5 mil for pre face lifted one is a waste of money , go for city new , it will be much better , plus the peace of mind you get from a new car you can never get from car in which japs have farted god knows how many times

Get the facelifted one. It's new shape plus everything is polished; newer engine, start stop, more air bags, traction control, multi function steering etc.
