I received the car today and drove back from Lahore to Multan. so it seems they are doing March deliveries (mine was March).

1. battery was charged at 53% so took it to the charger at aramco opposite of expo center. That charger is 50kW so it took 52 minutes to finish.

2. Drove to Abdul Hakim at 100km/h with Cruise, reached there with 23% remaining. Averaged 14.8kwh/100km. The charger at Abdul Hakim charged very fast.

3. They gave me the 7kw charger as well even though it was not on the PBO. I heard the women there telling a customer new bookings wont get it.

4. My car was missing Mats so I need to order them, can anyone please help me getting those?

That's very nice average for the motorway. It means i was underestimating the motorway range. 14.8 kWh/100 km roughly translates to 330 km of range.

See I told you, everyone is getting 7kW charger for free. Who knows later bookings may get the same because initially they said only first 100 customers will get it.

Keep in touch with your store. They may give you the floor mats. The only online option in Pakistan for floor mats was Sehgal motors but they are now out of stock. The best option now is to buy it from AliExpress. AliExpress, Temu, and Daraz are full of BYD accessories.

Do you have any contact number of the BYD Lahore? Today a person I met at BYD Lahore called me to get Abdul Hakim charger location and he got the delivery today as well AND he also got the Mats. Seems like they will give the Mats at the 3 month service. Though would be ideal if I could get those now so the number would help.

Can you tell how long it took for them to give you the invoice (so the car can be registered) They didnt give me any of that today

I don't have Lahore's store number. Check your warranty book. Islamabad store wrote sales and service numbers in it

I got vehicle with 91% charge and drove all the way to Abdul Hakim as instructed by @om26er @ BYD Lahore with 13% remaining. My drive pattern remained hefty as i mostly drove at 95km/hr but somehow i accelerated it to 120km/h. Within Lahore City i almost drove for 35kms averaged at 9kwh/100km but after that till Abdul Hakim it went to 14.2kwh/100 km.
I can't explain the range anxiety i suffered yesterday.

Floor matts are poor in quality rather buy some after market

With 120 kph, you will definitely feel the range anxiety specially with single charger between Lahore and Multan. Things will improve if we have one more charger between this route

Sharing for information purposes. There's one more charging station on M2 motorway other than Bhera.
It's few meters away after you exist Pindi Bhattian toll plaza.

I think people should probably look at options other than Bhera for charging considering capacity issues at Bhera.

I had to take a meeting while driving to Islamabad over the weekend and I typically stop at Gloria and I saw multiple cars in waiting for the only 2 charge spots available there. I think some people might have had to wait more than an hour in total.

Yes such issues will increase specially with BYD mass deliveries. If you are traveling during evening hours, Pindi Bhattian is better option because my guess is it won't have as many car as Bhera.

This is the same material which mega is giving for free. Personally I like the mats which mega gave. The only downside is they don't cover the vertical sides like any xD (3D, 4D, etc) mats.
Hence I bought the 10D mats from Sehgal motors. They cover the every inch of floor carpet and quality is excellent as well. Unfortunately they are out of stock now

Why use this as an inter city car? With the low range it’s not really suitable for inter city travel, unless there’s a fully developed charging infrastructure every 50km but it’s going to take 5-6 years..

But it’s a wonderful vehicle for within city travel. Almost free if on adequate solar.

Personally I rarely travel out of city. I shared charger location for information purposes.

But many owners are doing intercity traveling safely. Islamabad-Lahore motorway have now 2 charging stations which are adequate but 3 would be much better. Lahore-Multan traveling is also possible but you have to keep the speed at 100 kph like Omer did in this thread because there's only one charging station between this route. Honestly 100 kph this isn't a concern as well because both M3 and M4 motorways have now 100 kph speed limit.

In summary, it's possible but it may not be the best experience. I think people are taking their EVs out of city just to experience it on motorways or for fun. I believe charging infra will improve in 2 years of time.

While asking for more charging points is fair, the real question that needs to be asked is why is the range so terrible on this car in the first place? A 200 mile range crossover would be DOA in any developed country. Even a base model Tesla 3 with a 57kw battery does over 500km in range

Not fair comparing it to a sedan. The aerodynamics of a crossover are very different from those of a sedan. Sedans in general have better range than crossovers with similar battery sizes. If you compare it to cars in it's class they'll offer similar range. And we're restricted to the 49.92kwh version here for tax reasons. Otherwise the Atto 3 is BYD's best selling EV worldwide.
