Thread was created by an owner who has paid for the car and waiting for delivery, like other buyers in this thread.

Even though I’m not an owner or buyer but @ifadey was giving good and updated knowledge here. Nobody does this on the forums anymore and all have switched to other platforms.

So I don’t think it is necessary to discourage the remaining few active contributors like him.

Spoke to someone on the call and they say that March deliveries are still on track and the current delay should not impact March deliveries. Hoping that its true!

I don't mind whatever title we keep. The mods judged me wrong.
The thing which pinched me the most is we need to submit proof of ownership to make owners thread. Seriously?

Keep the "delivery unconfirmed" in the title but rename the thread to "BYD fan club" because they make PHEVs as well.
It would been much better if mods have discussed with the members before title change. This is done exactly when the deliveries were about to begin. If they don't start the deliveries by next week, I would have personally posted a message here because I would be pissed myself.

got a call today from byd further confirming my dd as April . i Booked on 10th feb
They also confirmed i will be receiving upgraded variant with 18inch alloys , smartphone key access, all black interior and new battery not the main one but the assistive one. That's all the info she knew maybe more i dont know.

Unfortunately no call received yet for the delivery appointment. Previously they were telling that I will receive call in the 3rd week of Feb for delivery appointment.

I paid the balance payment on 24th Jan and they gave 3rd week of Feb as tentative delivery week.
I will update here if I receive any call.

I booked the BYD ATTO 3 on the second day of the Expo. According to the PBO, the tentative delivery date was in January. I made the full payment in January and was informed by Mega Motors’ helpline that I would receive a call after the BYD delivery point opens in Lahore on the 15th of February. However, I have not received any update so far. I contacted the helpline again, but the customer service representative was rude and hung up the call.

BYD may end up just like AUDI & Porsche in Pakistan, leaving owners' as kite flying in tornado. The policy documents between 2019 - 2025 about the EV in Pakistan have serious flaws. The powers' for 'tariff' (changes) adjustment are ambiguous and subject to review every 3 years or less. read between lines the policy document itself is tool for arm twisting by every (s)elected govt for their own benefits not for masses.

I have seen owners/fan club threads created even when the vehicles are rumored or announced for launch.

please rummage through such threads, late @fazalwahab11375 created all such topics as discussion dedicated thread as headline edited by @sardarg fortunately a gentleman expat is called into Pakistan by BYD partners (MEGA GROUP) for establishing the network. He reports to Habib Ullah Khan the Group Chairman.

inside out, soon after the vehicles were loaded and shipped to Pakistan, before the launch & deliveries the group has come under serious 'threat' to 'accept' a politically connected industrial group as their partners, to which HUK is not bowing down as of 02 15 2025.

He may sale out BYD to that group in phases, but not put his 45 years of Group reputation at risk under any pressure. He is MAN of totally different stature, kind of person who will not surrender nor leave his fallen behind enemy lines. we have met couple of times after COVID in here across Atlantic.
