Honestly, I have no idea at the moment. We will know once we start receiving calls for delivery appointments. They previously communicated that the appointment call will be done 5 days prior to the delivery.

Chinese manufacturers have a bad habit of overexaggerating things ~ some excel in deception ( cgi at peak ), we have dealt with many. Anyway ~ in pk ( if launched ), it won’t be "god's eye" ~ it will be "goodbye" !! Instant accident !! I would love to watch a irl testing vid

It will be China only feature due to some limitations to go global. But the level of autonomous intelligence is very advance like Huawei. Huawei's self driving tech using LiDAR is considered world's best. It's even better than Tesla. You can check Seres/Aito M9 for its pratical demonstration. It can work even in fully dark environment with no lights unlike Tesla which relies on cameras and light just like human eye.

BYD was weak on self driving side hence they spent last 2 years for the development of new autonomous driving tech using LiDAR like Huawei.

I would say check the real owner videos of Aito M9. You will be blown away how far Chinese have come. The problem is they don't get much popularity globally as compared to for example Tesla due to language barrier.

Just wait for few months, such owner videos for BYD God's Eye will also appear on YouTube

Like, I can't imagine replying on cameras in 2025 ~ anyway, telsa also heavily replies on user data, with the integration grok 3 ~ their technology will became even better. For ref, grok 3 is an AI model, launched by elon musk.

Watched this vid & others on yt, the tech seems solid. Chinese manufacturers are demonic ~ how will they further improve this tech? A simple integration with the deepseek AI model will make this technology even better, it will learn the users driving behaviour & adjust to their preferences. Maybe, we will see a partnership in the future deepseek x byd. Anyway, I'm more interested in how will the "LiDar sensors" perform in pakistan.

God's Eye (LiDAR) based BYDs will be released in China in Q2 if this year. So initially the vehicles we will receive in Pakistan won't have this feature.

It's seriously embarrassing & baffling that I missed such a imp update ~ I genuinely expected a collaboration to happen soon, but it already had happened. Anyway, there are other AI companies in china, which are on the rise ~ the competition within china itself is tough. I won't be surprised if other companies used deepseek itself to train their own AI models ( model distillation ). Also, I wonder how long will this partnership will last for ~ Deepseek already has many allegations for data theft & model distillation. BYD might be forced to cut ties with deepseek in the future.

Niether Grok nor DeepSeek are actually involved in any of the autonomous driving tech. They're just general purpose transformer models and, therefore significantly slow to take any action in real-time when driving something as complex as a vehicle. You'd need vastly more computing (and electrical) power to run these models locally within the car anyways.

Both integrations are actually for the in-car cloud-backed assistant, like you have Google Assistant or Siri with Android Auto and CarPlay.

Autonomous driving relies on a multitude of models that are more suited for real-time control and decision making and are small enough to be embedded within the vehicle itself because you can't have any network latency when even 1 second delay can mean life or death.

Some users were able to run the deepseek r1 model on their 5 year old andriod devices ( locally ) 8gb ram ~ maybe, lightweight libs can be created for cars, meh ! Even I ran it on my pc, I was surprised & blown away. I still believe, it can NOT be used for real time decision-making & I'm all for the features ( monitoring driver behaviour & other features )

Hey guys, I just spoke to a representative from BYD actually, they called me to provide an update regarding the Atto 3, which was initially scheduled for delivery in Jan and then in the 3rd week of Feb. The latest update is that they will start delivering the Seal this weekend, and Atto 3 deliveries are expected to begin in March, most likely by the 10th (although she wasn’t entirely sure).

She also mentioned that deliveries will be made from the DHA Phase 1 flagship store since the one on Main Boulevard, Gulberg Lahore, is still not ready

Hearing all these stories of delays I can't afford one beyond my April dd. What are my options here can anyone guide ? Do these pbo sell or should I lose 10% and cancel it ? Is cancellation doable and refundable ? They're not delivering cars would they deliver my money back ?

I am not sure if April deliveries are on time or not. But things are moving now. Multiple BYD Seals have arrived in Khi, Lhr, and Isb flagship stores.

Atto 3's are still in process of customs clearance. Mega's plan is to start deliveries of Seal by the end of this week or from Monday. Atto deliveries can start anywhere in the first 10 days of March as soon as they are cleared from Karachi port and arrive in the flagship stores.

Initially stores are opened in 3 cities only. But there are plans to add total 25 more stores gradually.
