Not only do a lot of folks not give a hoot about safety, but also encourage their children to sit in their laps whilst on the move. I just don't get how some people have ZERO common sense. In my city, if you're not buckled up in the front seats, you get fined immediately... And that's great, but it's not enough. We urgently need to have a law mandating the use of rear seatbelts and child car seats too. I'm sure it's the same in Pakistan too, sadly.

today a lady driving cultus was going to hit me when she blindly turned left ... i srvived activating evassive measures...chased her....made her stop the car in a polite manner....

she had shades on all windows...kids or a kid on back seat n A WHITE PERSIAN CAT IN HER LAP...

i had her romove the shades from front windows....

I can share videos in which minors on their lap in driving seat. Stupidity ..

Here improper restraint or without it ,comes under making the life of minor endanger. And its very strict fines and lot of points on your license.. Implementation of law is must. Laws itself are everywhere ..

and I believe 2013 Corolla ( whatever GLI/ ALTIS and so on) in Pakistan will have same ratings.. As all mentioned below applies.

That's the only way to do it. The injury or death of a minor due to the lack of a safety seat is tantamount to murder in my view.

We still need a fining law, Wearing seat belts in my part of the world is like we are demonstrating some elite class and not safety measures, leave passenger and rear seat belts alone.

Altho the motorway/Highway police gives warning on all tool tax plazas that the driver must be wearing a seat belt, There are cars in Pakistan who have just recieved seat belts a year or 2 back, they were literaly made with out seat belts.

Dont exactly know how this happened, but by the looks of it, the car has fallen from height and has hit head on from the left side.

His janaza was today at evening in Lahore. Will update you guys once I meet some one who attended the funeral.

Lol adding to that the Pakistan domestic models had a serious brake distrbution issues, one of the 4 wheels (front left) locked up too much more than 75% Corollas sold in Pakistan 2002-2008 have had a frontal collision just because of the stupid reason, No wants to know about the issue :S

Lol why? No I wasn't smiling, this topic made me gloomy. And that blood, well such pics have always been removed from PW and I think that's a good idea for a properly moderated forum which is used by all kinds of people. For some of us, this might be disturbing enough.

May be I am wrong but I still posted for the sake.

Ooh i was not known tht such pics have been kept removing from the threads. I thought that, you have uploaded Some thing like this and those images was removed my mod and now you pulling their leg to remove this also. As some members have doing such acts.

you can have IMC install all sorts of air bags (which our lovely people think are like luxury pillows). BUT the biggest problem is the "jugaar" crowd. e.g. the install suzuki alto EPS in every other car crowd. We have a bunch of such users on PW too.

Who is stopping them from using a dead buckle in the belt reciever to quieten the chime, or what about begum saab in the rear seat with the front seat pulled all the way forward so she can sit her fat self in the car. You think she will wear a belt?

You think someone is going to ban fiddling with the RS and SRS systems both mechanically and electronically, Pakistan does not even have road health certificate laws. Wanting of SRS equipment is only valid if people actually use RS equipment first and even before that they should know how to drive (driving does not mean moving the car)

I know cops will fine a person for endangering a child if the child seat is not fastened, or the child is not fastened to the seat, and also report to child protection services too.

she had a kitty upon kitty syndrome. I regularly see people here do that with dogs. infact I was once driving and suddenly this thick goo started to rain on my cars windshield, After clearing with wipers I saw that it was dog drool from the truck infront of me, the driver had his dog in his lap and the dog was hanging out the window.
