Very sad incident. But not surprising because our Pakistani brothers believe that driving the car on top speed is the only way to reach from point A to point B, no matter how bad or congested road conditions are.
Secondly wearing seat belts are considered a low dignity act.
People drive rash and then blame the vehicle, tires, breaks, etc. Never accept their fault or careless and reckless driving.
People believe that ABS will save them so speed up.
New cars are built in a way to absorb the impact and keep it away from the cabin, but in very high speed impacts it will also collapse. That is why you see cars mangled after a collision, it is a safety feature.
The best safety feature is observance of traffic rules, speed limits and careful driving + seat belt.
